  2. At this stage I can't get up there. But I'm trying to work something out.
  3. That was me, it's all good. It's all part of a track day. No stress. I thought you were going right, lol.
  4. Yepo. I'd run out of fuel for the shootout, do it was a drifto session.
  5. Thanks to Marty and his little Canon point and shoot camera for the external pics.
  6. With the splitter on now, 1.34 again on a drying track (the damn rain kept coming through). Not sure what the temp was, cold! mother F$%ing cold. Dropped the pressures back to 30-31 hot 1.33.38 on AD08R's, street tyres. Love em, such a progressive and predictable tyre. Did a lot of laps in both wet and dry during the day, 40'ish. Tyres still look very new. After working on the car all week after work and 16 hours on Friday, I was pretty tired and my brain started going off in the last session I did. 1.32.8 was the optimal time on the lap timer for the day and that was easily achievable. I made mistakes on all my hot laps in the last session. With more practice without ABS (this is only my 3rd time) and a more speed conducive day 1.31's are a go'er.
  7. 1.35 on a drying track pedaling around at 80% bedding things in. I thought for sure I was on A050's, the AD08R straight off the bat surprised me. Seems like they are going to live up to their hype. You can see the NACA duct here, doh!
  8. Ran the first session without the splitter. I hadn't run Winton with no ABS before, new tyres and new brake pads, in the wet...so just in case I went off. No splitter.
  9. Also it turns out the NACA ducts have protective film on both sides..... One started to come out :|
  10. This is the first time we have had the splitter on with wheel on...it ended up being a little too low...
  11. Anyway the old man went and hunted around some local farms, found some alloy and cut it to shape. Fog to start the day followed by misty rain, then heavier rain, then cold wind.
  12. As is always the case, things take a while. It was 7PM before we left finally. Then to wake up the next morning to a missing left wing end plate (fasteners came loose, lost it on the hwy somewhere) and ice.
  13. Day off work on Friday to finish everything up. Got a hold of the new ADVAN AD08R, fare bit of hyper around this tyre. The time-sheet will tell. 265/35 R18
  14. Done and dusted . Had a blast. Ad08R's are an amazing tyre. Gave so much confidence. 1.33.38 on a street tyre. First time at Winton without ABS, though new splitter and wing mounting made up for that. Juliette, how'd the R's feel on the BRZ?
  15. I trend to agree. But when do u stop modifying the rules...
  16. This is the first one, though I'd hope to see a couple next year.
  17. Not sure if you saw, there is a major air flow issue. No air getting to it. I'm not running guide liners at the moment, but will be when I've got time to make some. I did think about re-locating in-between the intercooler and the radiator. But I want to keep water temps as low as possible. I've run it there previously and both water and oil temps were higher under sustained load. Work on the car last night.
  18. Really, I found the oil temps lower with it in that location.
  19. Result looks good to me, regardless of the engine build (which should give you increased reliability and ability to increase power down the track) this is a result on Pump 98. It's not exceptional, but not every result can be. 1. Get it tuned on E85 and see what the result comes out at. 2. Buy the cables and shit that allow you to change the map from PULP to E85, I'd imagine Trent will be able to steer you in the right direction. 3. Run the E85 map on the track and PULP daily, after-all you have spent good money on the engine (Dom has put a lot of time into it) and you want to protect it. I can't imagine that lot costing more the $400. For total piece of mind absolutely worth it. 4. I'd just drive the farkn thing! 5. DRIVE IT!
  20. Turn up, race track, get tried, drive home. That's the itinerary.
  21. More work on the car last night. NACA duct for oil cooler. Cooler needs to be angled a little, so that is the next job. Slot in rear mounts for the splitter.
  22. Full entry list http://www.worldtimeattack.com/index.php/wtac-entry-list/
  23. 13. why you have no seen this car?!!? Some cars belong in glass cabinets, this being one. Here
