  1. You'll need to renew it with CAMS. Not sure on the list, I'd imagine there still being spots.
  2. Yeh limited by class rules to the level of the roof line. That photo is deceptive, the end plate are level with the roof.
  3. Again, intense.
  4. The rear wing is all fitted up
  5. Then I had the fun task of completing the bar
  6. The old man fabricated this entire thing.
  7. Oil cooler shroud
  8. Another weekend on the car. Changed pads to EBC Orange
  9. I'd imagine at PI feeling a difference.
  10. Look at the torque difference at 3k between your SS2 and the latest one. You'd expect the Neo engine to produce a little more response anyway...I'd think? That latest run is an S2 R33. That car had a bell mouth dump with a hi-flow cat. On the standard manifold, I was impressed. Though the tune was on United P100, not 98. But still far from E85.
  11. Yup. We might change it to the rexy day. The last one there was great.
  12. It's Daytona'esk arcade game catch up spec. Had a good chuckle.
  13. Yep, those holes produce a huge amount of drag and screw up the front splitter. Front turn in and more so grip through higher speed corners is far more pronounced. It's spooky science shit, but it does work.
  14. Generally you have up to the Monday before.
  15. Just out of 2mm alloy sheet. I'm unsure of the grade. They weigh 340g ea. Rigid enough. They are pretty big (though not as big as the doors, they are the same ones from the previous page). Who knows if they provide any benefit, until we get them on. We're going to make up some smaller more convention ones as well, just to see what the difference maybe. There is a theory that lowering the profile of the end plate after the gurney will increase it's effect.
  16. Finished off the wing end plates with some paint. Expander foam worked. Still needs a sand and body filler. Running out of time for Winton on the 3rd, so 12mm plywood slitter will have to do. The splitter still needs all the mounts fabed up and the air dam fitted,
  17. Well it was cold and dry. Then cold and wet.
  18. Much better run...not this year. Easy on par. Alfa are a slick show however. It just comes down to schedule. We wanted a break in July and rexy are going to tassie.
  19. Yep I'm going to Winton. Want to get to Wakefield and mix it up with the NSW guys as well. But time and money won't allow that. Will be there is a 70% done WTAC car
  20. Yokohama are hosting a couple of pre-wtac track days. - fastest car on the day gets their entry refunded - they are going to have AD08R's on hand for testing - more trophies Winton http://www.circuitclub.com.au/event/45 Wakefield http://www.circuitclub.com.au/event/46
  21. This event just received a price drop! $135 if you run Yokohama's! $170 if you don't. Honestly, you'd be stupid not to come. http://www.circuitclub.com.au/event/45
  22. We did some wool tuff testing at Wakefield. Just to get an understanding of what the air is doing behind the car. It's on some serious drugs. The wool between the bar and the body work was being sucked into the gap.
  23. I'd have a chat to Neil. They should do a credit for thier next track day. [email protected]
