Over the last couple of years there has been talk of introducing a class within the MS Championship that caters for those nutters wanting to use a slick type tyre. This includes, but not limited to: Hoosier Hankook Dunlop Avon Pirelli Advan Bridgestone It seems this year there maybe enough nutters to actually run this class and provide trophies at the end of the year. So if we can get a consistent 2 cars on slicks turning up to each round and at least 4 different cars for the year after Haunted HIlls, then the class will be included in the end of year awards. If the numbers are not there, we can still acknowledge you, but you won't get an award. Please bare in mind that slick type tyre use it up to the discretion of the club running the track day and the use of said tyre is generally dependant on weather conditions. Further more, to be included within the SAU MS Championship on slicks the car much as a minimum have a 6 point CAMS compliant ROPS. Register your interest here. Paul has already set a 1.39.x at PI on slicks in the first round of the year. Bring it on.

Yeh there may have been some confusion. New members can join for $60 or $150 for three years. Existing members can renew for three years for $130. There will be plenty of opportunity for new members to get discounted sign up during the year as well Heap of gear in the pipeline this year.

On UTQG tyres =>140 Standard AWD, with R compound tyres modified AWD. As long as you leave the FPR and injectors alone that is. I think the rear quarter windows are lexan, but they weigh around the same as glass with the naca ducts/scoops so that would be ok.

I'm not sure if this is confirmed, but it was mentioned Paul's car had done. 35-6 or something with a Pro driver. The R35 went around in sub 37.

Dave in the other silver R33 had trouble stopping the car in the last 50m at turn 4 all day. When I was behind him I'd have to brake much earlier than I normally would and dive off to the right just in-case he went straight on, or brake much harder that I would have thus me ending into the back of him. Basically I was giving him shit all day about being slow there. He said he would eventually go straight on...and he did, ha. I didn't realise he wasn't going to make it. I was easily going to make the turn in.

You will be fine. Just as long as it's not blue. If it is, pull it and paint it another colour pronto.

So Voltex Type-5 wing's are back in club and you can run a 600HP RB30 in your R32 GTST. What you really want it a 600HP turbo S2000 running 295's all around. Light, short wheels base, wide track and massive power.

That is just how it operates at Haunted Hills, I don't think I've ever had more than 8 runs in a day.

Yep, not listed yet. Generally $85-110. Haunted Hills is a hill-climb and works differently to a track day. Line up in number order, do your approx 60 second lap. Park the car, line up again in 25 minutes when all the car have gone through. Generally get 4-7 runs during the day.
