  1. We can get around that, I'll just call and book another session after ours...
  2. 285 all around hopefully. Trying to get an offset that will fit within the guard and not foul in the front upper arm...
  3. Traditional jap time attack doesn't use a slick, I figure. The guys in the states can use the grooved r comps and in the UK is a full slick? Looks like it, no higher than the roof line. I love that there is an actual set of rules now (previously more guidelines) it's the natural evolution you can see a lot of time has gone into it and they have consulted some people who know what they are talking about. I think good stuff. Changes are never going to please everyone. I'm doing club again, I just need more tyre. I can get a 265 on easy, but is that going to be much better than a 255...doubt it. Need to get a 285, but to do so will be narrowing the track to get wheels to fit....mmmm
  4. Ha. Only in colour.
  5. Toby you must buy! Also tow car (one of those homo fords or something) and trailer. Note you wouldnt get it compiled, just shipped over. http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x257859562&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/f09batchimg.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/2/3/0/6/kurumaerabi_store-thumb-1357985983111999.jpg&title=2%202L%20GT3037S%20com
  6. Or cheapo Andriod tablets...
  7. VSSC round will be a free for all though. Looking forward to PI action.
  8. Needs update!
  9. The $1-1,500 radiator will have a little to do with that as well I would imagine. Over the ebay or even jap spec units we run. Ducting to awesome btw. Like a lot!
  10. I'm going to say they will put you outside modified as per the rules "include, but no limited to". As to whether you can actually run them at a track day, that will be up to the club running the day. I've seen these run on caged and non-caged cars previously. Though as a generally accepted rule, SAU VIC strongly suggests that anyone looking at running this type of tyre have at a minimum a CAMS approved half cage.
  11. correction evo = faded and pealing red
  12. There was no offical timing, so who really knows. The 32 was mega loud, I would have said over the noise limit. 1.14 I didnt hear that tho. My GPS had a 23 on it from the frist sesson. I didnt have it in the car after that. No point with the sliding. First MS event is PI on the 2nd of Feb.
  13. Almost looks like Need For Speed or GT3 or something.
  14. Anyone with in-car video, can you burn it to DVD and get it to Laith / bring it along to the Garage Cafe meet in Feb or the Gokarts. k, thanks.
  15. They are booking their events now. First event is Feb 2nd @ Phillip Island.
  16. 2013 is going to be a good one from the looks of it.
  17. 27th January 2013 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/414092-sau-vic-le-mans-go-kart-race-27012013
  18. Great too see everyone down at the track. We had some logistical issues with trophies and food on the day. But we plan on making that up in the new year, so stay tuned. Great photo's!

$70 is less than a slab of jd. Your $70 goes a hell of a lot further with SAU VIC than a slab I can tell you. If you want to run at Sandown or PI. SAU VIC is one of the most cost effective CAMS clubs to join. You cannot get on to timed days at these tracks without a l2s and club membership. You don't have to be a member or have a CAMS license for DECA.
