This event is a little different to all of the others. You'll have to wait to get access to the members only area for this one. All other track days are multi club CAMS affiliated based, some you just go to that clubs site and sign up.

There is something to be said though for the sound of a modern bimmer V8, raw as fark.

BMW club is for BMW only. They kinda frown down on other cars.

BOV, gear-knob and seats are also different... 8MR has no value over an 8 for a street / track car. Spend $10k on mods for an 8. The 6 Speed box on the > VIII models eats the VII 5 Speed is the only consideration. The gearing is far far better.

Yep ya have to wait till the end of year trophy presentations We used a panel of judges this year, so it wasn't just get all your mates around to vote for you. The panel was a mix of member and guest judges. We had some fuel vouchres, motul product and gear the Gripshiftslide bought along that we gave away...but I swear that it seemed like people where never born.

And you are comparing a $40-50k car with a $15-20k car. Which one is going to loose you the least money when you go to sell?!?! Sure the blue oval isn't going to command anything more than $15k in 3 years time.
