  1. 56 is damn good for a wags.
  2. The 8/6 BC's are on the soft side. In a 33GTST they are perfect for the road. If you are not going to do any track work, drop them down to 6/4 or something, iirc doesn't cost any extra. Just have to wait for them.
  3. You will be able to knock 3-4 second off that time with more track experience Tony. Add another 2-3 seconds for tyres and 0.5-1 seconds for a more aggressive wheel alignment. That has you down in the 42's. Add a diff and more experience will have you under 40. This is the best thing about being a newbie, you go to a track day and knock 2-3 seconds off your PB. While the rest of us jump up and down over 1-2 tenths. Remembering I'm at a 38.1 with 210KW, RSR's and stock aero. That was with all of the above mentioned.
  4. Either there or at the Hay Shed.
  5. Well you will want the semi's on the front before the diff then. As the diff will induce a little more understeer initially.
  6. Cooler pipes coming off sucks.
  7. You missed out bif time yesterday!
  8. lol, pipes need beads on the outside. Also, you should be able to get 1M lengths of silicon pipe off SAU silicon guys to replace the rubber poo that is on there atm. That should stop them blowing off. I'm hoping someone has video of the flame!
  9. I'll see you along the way somewhere. I'm just crusin along, bonus of not having to be there for sign in and scrutineering etc.
  10. Motul RBF600, any Autobarn will have it. One bottle is fine. I will bring my bleeding gear with me.
  11. It's an easy process, grab some fluid and we can do it at the track if you like. Will only take 30 mins or so.
  12. GTR is different. The GTR rear subframe is different so is the front (obvious reasons there, front diff) 27mm for the front of the ECR33 is fixed mate. That would be terrible, unless you like massive understeer all the time.
  13. 295's, it's the only way to fly...
  14. Adjustable Whiteline Front, there is only one size 24mm. Fixed Whitline Rear, 20mm. The diff changes the way the car behaves, not only under power but off power into corners. It's less sloppy and more direct, the change on the road is equally as good. Rob in the black 33 just changed from the stock diff to a KAAZ 1.5 way recently.
  15. I've got a pet hate for 'race' cars at sprint days. They generally bring with them 'race' drivers with egos larger than most countries.
  16. It that actually an RSR? WTF is that coming to a sprint day for. Anyway Dean is on there in the radical thingo (Speads). That will be the fastest car for the day.
  17. 1.5Way KAAZ or NISMO diff is a must. it's $1500 worth of kit, but money well spent.
  18. He is, its just WRX buggered things up. He will be there.
  19. lol, don't event tempt me more than I am. Such an easy car to go fast in, extracting that little extra is super hard though. errrr, yep there goes the value for money. 8MR is like buying a NUR, well not a far as NUR but similar. It's the pimp spec, but for the same money you can make a much better VIII or IX. VII is what...17K buy price (22K asking) and a VIII MR is 30K buy price. I'd buy a IX over an VIII MR any day, they are pretty much the same price and the IX is far superior engine wise. One of the OTR VIII is up for sale atm, bargain for what it is. Also Dan's East Beat GTT is for sale again in the ACT.
  20. I will look into it for you. My mega spreadsheet of death says no. So will look into the payments again.
  21. VII.9 The VII is a bit unloved, as the body styling is plain when compared to the VI and VIII. VII are cheap, why would you bother with a VI with flogged bushes and gearbox.
