  1. More pics up here http://www.sdpics.com/cgi-bin/e-store/index.cgi?direct=8000~Motor_Sport/9000~Cars/05~Car_Club_Track_Days/92~21_July_2012_-_WRX_Car_Club That sound equipment was just f**ked, plan and simple. Sandown has to be one of the most heavily enforced tracks in the country for sound. If a car passes there, it should pass everywhere. At the end of the day, if you have a screamer venting, Winton, Calder, Haunted Hills and PIARC are your only options for good value (more than 2 sessions). The oil sucked, as it used a mass amount of perfect track conditions. But you can't do anything about knobs.
  2. 260rwkw, 255 r17 AD08. Saw JP posted up his laps. Great top speed. Mine here.
  3. ? I drive mine to and from. Keep it simple, put money into track days rather than car. There is much more time improvement with the driver, than in the car.
  4. Sure is. Chassis that stiff..?
  5. Ring DD and speak to Bec.
  6. Rexy wagon came off into the wall at turn 12 right at the end of the day.
  7. Weather was spot on. Bugger about the oil down (2 hour delay) and the crash at the end. Heaps of new faces. Sorry to those we couldnt get driver trainers for, there were just so many of u! Had a great time, caught up with a bunch of you. Saw some cars and didnt talk to everyone, just so much going on! The next event it during WTAC weekend, so i will see u again at WINTON.
  8. More, 50-70c United E85 - 97c BP98 - $1.60
  9. Yes please, I mean the damn servo is ideally located for E85. I'm filling up, uses about 1/2 tank to get to the Island. Bringing 4-6 jerry's (4 are filled now, if it can be assed filling the other two...not sure). But you L platers won't use as much fuel as the rest of us. You're not driving the car there though....
  10. They have a pretty good Cafe on-site. They do real Hamburgers, not out of the packet ones. How many of you need membership notes by the way? - Scott - Dave (sorted Martin has your card)
  11. Surely the 'embargo' on larger tyre development will cease within the next 18-24 months though....?
  12. Yeh I'm not sure how that works either.
  13. It was on slicks for sure and was hella loud yes. I though he had entered WTAC, that makes sense.
  14. Was changing the outer rings of the 2 piece brake rotors and prepping the car to remove one of the rear hubs last night. Glade you had fun.
  15. bwaheaheah Yep, Chris' car in the white there. The Supra was lapping in the 16's or something. The 35 was testing for WTAC Open Class. CRD car from NSW.
  16. So do I. Shiz I just remember I needed to grab some of those photo's you guys took last time. Doh, I'll do it laters.
  17. A cool, sizes are better than I thought. Once they heat up they will be golden! lol, small world I know.
  18. That's where my container with my R35 ended up! Damn shipping companies, can't trust em. Good luck in Pro. I'd love to see the car get a quick time in Pro.
  19. Na, Dave (ARTZ) picked up some old O3G's in 235 (from an evo I assume). I'm still rocking AD08's, fresher ones in fact. Not newies, but only 4-5 track days old and not my 13 track days.
  20. I'm in for a perv as well. Hang on, what are we talking about?!?!
  21. You can call and book. They only fit 2 cars. Dave I saw your car in at Tyrepower yesterday getting the O3G's fitted. Much excitement. Changed the rear tie rods last night....fark it's the bloody HICAS ball joint that has movement, FU Nissan! The pain the follows removing that SOB with be heavy on the beers.
  22. I would have liked a little more up top, but I suppose that is the limit of the small housing. The larger OP6 housing maybe an option down the track, but WILL require larger rear tyres for sure. Maybe WTAC 2013 with 280-290rwkw and 285 rears.
