  1. It was just one of those days, blue skies in the morning. The promise of good things, dry run. Almost dry run, then rain and hail. The air temp and track ambient were unbelievably low. I'm not sure of the apparent temperature, but is was fugging cold! The track temp wasn't much better, even with the streeter tyres they where hardly warm after a session out on the track. Had a blast, with good things to come as 49's come easy in traffic now. AD08's are 13 track days old now as well
  2. Mine are second handers
  3. Top Fuel and Voltex have a good chance this year, surely. Light as fark, low center of gravity, mega power and sensible aero. Same principle to the Exige crew I suppose. PS. Booked my trailer for the event. It's getting close now!
  4. You maybe able to get a credit for their next event.
  5. That is up to interpretation. Canards yes, for sure. Although they do 10 tenths of f**k all. Bonnet, major weight saving...like I said, that is up to interpretation. Under 1% of the cars total weight. Easiest thing to do is for you to get back out on the track with a car that does more than 3 laps! lol Will you be back out there this year? I'll be on AO50's for SAU Nats at this stage.
  6. That depends on your definition of 'close' I suppose. Naidoo has glass doors now, so doubtful return to club.
  7. Pony up. Water at the Island is what it's all about. PS. I hate the farkn rain.
  8. Never got around to using r-tunes. Changed calipers before the need.
  9. I'm interested to see what my top speed is now as well. It was up 5-10kmh at sandown in the wet. Last PI with same power + aero i was pushing 230kmh. So 245-250, should be where ur at Russ. Newton is pushing 200+ through turn 1 though!!
  10. Used them in the daily S15, very good.
  11. If ur going to do 4-5 track days a year, QFM are great. Else, DS3000 or Club Spec
  12. How do u find that out without pulling it off? Droped my nismo pump in thismorning, loved the plug and play.
  13. I'm not sure if they are employing flaggies for this one or not. We are not doing any. Email Neil.
  14. Yes so very tempting.
  15. It was warm in there, surprising. Those heaters work well. For those who where asking. Round 3 Phillip Island 30th - Alfa Club Vic (sold out), Free spectator entry (you will need to say its an Alfa day at the gate) round 4 Phillip Island 21st July - WRX Club Vic (Needs CAMS L2S, $105/annually), Free spectator entry (you will need to say its an WRX day at the gate) Winton 28th July - Tampered Motorsport (Passengers $10-15 for the day), everyone welcome. Brought to you by.
  16. Chasers Evo ran a 27 at winton recently.
  17. Alfa sell them. They don't supply print outs. Generally, they don't like tap either. So I'd be printing your own.... Neil sends out your number the week before.
  18. Interesting.
