  3. Not much is better than nangs...ha. Potenza's above the tread indicators will be fine. Their is basically a track day every weekend, if you become a member and get a CAMS license you can enter most other clubs track days. There are generally 2-3 social events a month in Summer.
  4. F10. Show N Shine 1. The event will be conducted at Calder Raceway utilising the infield of the Thunderdome and will take place on Sunday 4th March 2012 2. Cars will need to be assembled at Calder Park Raceway in a “ready to show” condition (including event stickers etc) prior to 7:00am in order to assemble into forum groups before gates open to the public. More detailed information will be provided to entrants prior to the event. 3. The date and time for judging is to be advised.
  5. Tampered generally operate over the public holidays. Pitty about the clutch. Tyres, long as they have tread are fine. Nanganks are still fun! WRX club days, which SAU VIC piggy back our days, hold an event in most months.
  6. Conservative 1.42.x With the AO50's 1.40.x Evo's lap pretty quick out of the box around Winton, generally. Tampered generally have 4-5 groups, sessions are 15mins (too long imo, but anyway). There is generally a group assigned to a forum or car club. Like MelbS15 had a group to them selves, Chasers did the same I think. Passenger laps all day make for great fun.
  7. I'm going btw, not sure if I'll drive up after work on the Wednesday and sink some beers or do the one day thing.

  10. I'll take it, pending looking at the exhaust housing (they crack...)When can I come by and pick it up
  11. Sorry, fire'y topic. Quite a few of the track day vic guys have GPS timing now, including myself (racechrono + qstarz). It is just that natsoft is the benchmark. I can see that it is more of a 'social fun day', which is great as passenger laps are great fun (Tampered Motorsport run passenger all day at Winton as well, though with timing). Have you discussed with committee and/or AASA about running timing and passenger laps all day, with the timing published at the conclusion of the event only? Either way I should be signing up for some Wakie action.
  12. No natsoft timing, bit of a downer.
  13. OT sorry, where did the rear wing come from?
