  1. There is one in the works. Just pondering some new ideas instead of your usualy cones and skids.
  2. They are still taking entries via email, the day will be full for sure.
  3. The thing looks amazing
  4. Both have a breather port. Standard Nissan: The diff has a hose that runs up into the chassis rail near the rear right wheel. The gearbox has a hose that runs to a hard line high up near the bell housing. Both just vent out to atmosphere.
  5. Both blow fluid out of them at high speed. I think it's a g-force / high revs / left hand or right hand corner thing.
  6. So after the fun day at Sandown there was a list of things to check off, to get the car back performing it's best. 1. check swaybar location 2. fix floor surface under the pedals 3. install roll cage padding 4. diff and gearbox breathers 5. front left steering movement 6. front splitter mounting points 7. fit new harness So in went the new harness to make the HANS more comfortable. Added another items to the list, that is give the inside a good clean with de-greaser The movement in the front left was a loose bolt, with that nipped up movement was gone. Also backed the swaybar off a hole. See if the front of the car is any different next time. Added tanks for the diff and gearbox We've been talking about bonnets for a while and trying to find a cost effective unit off the shelf that is aero and heat effective. Failing to find one, we dropped two new wheels on the angle grinder and went to it.
  7. That's going to stand out in the crowd, not such a bad thing either.
  8. 3-4 weeks before the event, generally.
  9. Round 3 of our Championship. Saturday, 9th of May 2015 Sandown This is a timed day run by AROCA. We do NOT have reserved positions. This day will fill, so enter now. http://www.alfaclubvic.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,14279.0.html
  10. We've chosen AROCA on the 9th of May as the next round in place for Broadford, which has no weekends available this year.
  11. That might be a challenge too far. But would certainly rock the boat.
  12. That or a direct fit rb26 solution. The only options people have are -9,-7 and -5 reallly. -9 resonse with -7 power would kill the market with direct fit.
  13. 90% of people drop rb20's in the bin. So I wouldn't bother. What I'm interested in is RB25Neo, not DET the NA ones. Higher compression, better response, on E85 with mild boost. Mention is to Trent, see what he says ?
  14. I've been spoilt lately being able to drive the bimmer. Hard to beat the response of an NA engine, but then you get to 4,000rpm and remember why boost is so good.
  15. Drop it in and get that seat dumped to the ground It does, but strangely enough it felt down on power. Have to get it back to the dyno and investigate cooler and intake leaks. If there is one, it will be tiny.
  16. Passenger laps so close to home were a blast. New PB on AD08R's at Sandown, will have to wait for a natsoft day to confirm time. But I want a low 1.19 out of this before I'm happy.
  17. Very cool
  18. Passenger laps day at Sandown went well. Few things to work on and it will be back on the pace.
  19. Super day, huge effort from everyone who put in time. From the driver trainers, BBQ, Merch stand, Sign-in etc.
  20. Cage is all painted, might need a bit of a tidy up before WTAC so it looks pretty. Dash is back in, with the cluster. Cleaned up a bit of ugly stereo, turbo timer, alarm system wiring while I was at it. Though the boost controller and shift light still need to be wired back in. Screen goes back in it today.
  21. I'm sure there will be many. John O is looking for a buddy, also has a 34 GTR. Silver R34 with BBS Wheels, catch him on the day.
  22. That position in the past has bedn generally acceptible. Though personally I'd like it closer. Bring your cams paperwork and we, will sort you out.
