  1. All over it like a dog on peanut butter.
  2. Was Luke still running the KU36's? 50 is impressive on s-tyres, lots of power, yet impressive.
  3. Indeed, but Sandown WRX and/or Track Battle the week after. Not sure if I'll go.
  4. I don't think it is wise to mount to camera further back than the front of the rear quarters. Not sure where you mounted yours. There is a setting for spot metering, ie metering in the centre of the image. Make sure the centre of the camera is pointing outside the car. not on the dash or anything. As for it not recording....WTF! annoying. I turn mine on, wait for all the lights and noises to stop, then flick the slider. On the weekend with the 8GB on 1080, you will have filled it in 4-5 sessions.
  5. Do you need maw power or more balance Matt? ABS in or out this time around?
  6. Track would have closed at 5, so only 20 mins of action was lost. Yes disappointing about that and Danny having a hero moment in the Evo during the passenger laps, which canceled that for the day. Think the Hay Shed straight up the hill (ie not on the track) through lukey and stopping on the outside on the top of lukey. I think that is what happened anyway, by the time I got there, grass all over the place and the car pointing the wrong way at the top of lukey. Weather was on the mark, though imo the track wasn't in good condition. We had to contend with oil, water, stones and grass all over the damn thing. Pretty inconsistent. Great day and well run to get us through 6 sessions. Well done to Royce and the team. Thanks to those who helped out and showed the first timers around the track in the first session. Very beneficial, again thanks to Royce for working with us to make it happen. I can't say enough about the weather on the day, not a cloud in the sky. I found myself looking out the window more in the first session than at the track...ha 1-2 tenths off my PB, just couldn't get the tyre pressures spot on. Great to see so many people out, I can see the hunger has defiantly started for a few. Next PI day is PIARC on Oct?!?! Next round for us is September the 24th @ Sandown. I have a bunch of video from the Red E36 M3, my car and the White R33GTR with RPF1's
  7. Classing is always something that comes up for comment in MS. I like the concept of a 'Standard' class as it promotes cheap MS events, but I can defiantly see the reasoning behind a 'street' class.
  8. Great idea, the seat bolt holes are spaced the same in GTST as well.
  9. Love it Josh. I'll bring a blade, if the coils don't do the trick, we can smash the plugs down The coils in that engine are only 210,000km old aren't they!?!?! ha
  10. Because the TB website is a little difficult to navigate. Here are the entry forms. http://www.clubracer...leEntryForm.pdf List of the form near the payment section that you are competing with WRX on the Saturday and the total price as advise by Ash above for the Sunday only.
  11. Yep, good contingent from SAU VIC competing in this event for sure. I'm entered with others filling in forms this and next week.

  13. What stops me from running a 3071 with billet comp wheel is more my point. While I won't be able to use all the power, traveling 15-30kmh faster down the straight is not fair, with same response as stock. We are not talking about smashing a large turbo on the much loved RB20, larger turbo on a 25 with good response and much more power is easy achieved. I do agree is leaves the poor little RB20 out in the cold. In saying that the NEO25's are going to make more power than me in the same form. Can see the reasoning for both, but I try and keep as much money as I can out of the bonnet of the car. So I like the restrictions imposed.
  14. Pizza, chance of winning a hoodie. Get along tonight!
  15. Gone JDM Dampers Exhaust Stock Dampers
  16. hrm, looks like a got into the tail end of group 1. What time are you going for Matt? Brilliant setup, well done Royce. Though 4,5,1,2,3 would be a little better for sighting laps, as the driver trainers are going to come from G1-2. ---------------- Running order on day Sighting Laps 5,4,1,2,3 Rest of day 1,2,3,4,5 DT ----------------
  17. I like the SAU VIC standard class rules much better. Basically imposes a power restriction on the cars, and a $$ spent restriction. Though maybe some modification. Disallowed mods for standard class - injectors - fpr - afm - non RB/SR turbo (highflow / HKS GTR standard replacement allowed, there is a list) - tyres <140 UTQG and/or with a r-compound rating from the manufacturer - interior removed (back seat allowed) - sound deadening removed - aero that is non-standard or not an option for that model vehicle
  18. justjap have two piece rotors, attacked branded (ksport/g4/d2). I'm not sure if that price is for 2 rotors, or just the single. As the single price is the same as dba5000, but it says 'kit' so I would think the 2 of them. A1RM for the occasional track day, maybe 1 a month. You may get 2x track days and street km out of a front set of A1RM. Anymore track action than that, look at PMu HC+ or run a street pad then swap em out for PMu clubspec. Also look at EBC blue stuff, 4 of us running ksport brakes with these pads on the front. They work on the street, not very well from cold and I think they would be pretty harsh on the rotors. But I get at least 5 track days out of a set of blues on the front and driving to and from the track. What track days are you looking at going to?
  19. Entries full, see you there.
  20. Just the Sunday, will be bashing around Sandown on the Saturday.
  21. Got in contact with Amy earlier in the week, I'm entered. Not everyday to get to bash around part of the Dome.
