  1. Those autotechnica rails seem to do that. I had one as well, hatted it. Got one of these instead, much much lower. http://www.nzkw.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=104_93_96_130&products_id=250
  2. errrrrrrrr, it's -0.1C in Mentone apparently. This is going to be epic.
  3. Heaheahea, yeh sure I'll throw em in the car so I don't forget.
  4. Minimum a couple of hours in the sun / heat. You risk paint crumbling off when you tighten up the nuts. The nuts will grab on the paint and not just take off the paint under the nut, but also around it.
  5. Yep. Nissan Car Club Australia for security at the gate. Come say hi.
  6. The line is there so the lowest common denominator doesn't get run over....
  7. This is what I used from the bunnings.
  8. Go matte buddy. Also a single can of autobarn wheel paint does 2x wheels. Clean it up with acetone and spray away. I didn't mask mine either. Pull the wheels off. Newspaper on the ground. Acetone the wheels very very well. Wipe down again with clean rag. Make sure can has been shaken very well. First coat, very light. you should still see some of the original colour. Do the same for the next wheel. By the time you have done that, move back to the to other wheel and give it another spray. Move back the to the second wheel, spray. Wait 5-10mins. Spray again, move to second wheel. Wait 5-10mins. You will get 4-6 coats out of the can. The wheels will remain 'glossy' until they dry. Do not use the wheels for 24 hours. Use a consistent sweeping motion, you should be fine. Don't do it if it is cold outside. 2x $17.50 spray cans 1x $10 acetone 1x $10 Roll of rag
  9. Buy a justjap / hi octane plate, then cut a hole in it for the pipe.... Air is sucked in from around the headlights. Very track proven.
  10. I wouldn't chance it, depends on what the scrutineer feels like on the day. 21 entries already. Get yours in fast! Phillip Island is a reasonably forgiving track, more so than Sandown. So if your are thinking of getting involved, this is a good one.
  11. What are the A, and B pillars like? Also the roof. Any kinks = no deal. Guards Bonnet Entire Rad and Light support (this is spot welded in) Head Lights (?) Front bar Intercooler Radiator Airbag sensors Entire Dash (i think this is the only way to replace the bag on the passenger side?) Radiator fan (?) That is what you can see. You will want to check out the front sub frame to make sure it hasnt moved / engine mounts are still in one piece. If the panels further back are ok and the engine mounts and subframe is ok, $5k???
  12. errrrrr, nothing.... hehaeah. It just caught on the synco and didn't click all the way in. Went into neutral... I normally wear gloves so the stick felt a bit different. My fault.
  13. Saturday weather is look good for turbo's. Some fog then funny
  14. did a 27 or something. Bloody I hate being out at the back garages, so anti-social. Didn't get to meet hardly anyone. Some ripping images there guys.
  15. Contour GPS. Same as HD but has an embedded 4hz GPS unit as well, I think they fixed the sound issues the early HD's had as well. The camera writes GPS data to the MOV file. Drop the single file into DashWare and you are done. The video quality on the GoPro is only slightly better imo. What I do like about the Contour is the package format (size of the camera) is much smaller and neater. And you can twist the lens.
  16. I did my laps round with my nanna sitting in the back seat i think...

  18. Black sika did not stick to the rubber of the door seal on mine. I put it on, came back in the morning, it was laying on the ground with sika still stuck to the front bar...
