For Phillip Island come grab me, as they generally do a sighting lap for new drivers right at the start of the day. A 32 is pretty damn good, that was your first time ya?

    Both if they are not raining, else the one where there is no rain. $340 to sign up for both days, $200ea otherwise. Sunday is timed, Saturday is not. Doesn't bother me either way. Also Jack did you realise that the track was wet?!?!? In the wet the car was still entering turn 11 at mach 3.

    If you buy a Contour GPS camera, it has a GPS embedded and getting the track data is easy. But I use racechrono + bluetooth GPS + nokia mobile phone, then use adobe to compile the GoPro HD and racechrono video files.

    GoPro, non HD versions have ok quality and cost nothing. The HD version is the ultimate, but cost a little more. Hit the on button, make sure you have the movie icon up, hit the record button. Red light is flashing, you are recording. Pretty easy. Comes with a suction mount, drop that on the interior light / inside windows.     They must have revised that for the newer ones. I can't see how you could brake the ones that are on mine.

    Russ, David in the XR6t ran some nittos for a while (not sure if it was the R comp ones). Either way the nitto website says the NT05R are for drag racing not circuit work.
