  6. I hope the Mini in group 1 is rocket powered.
  7. Downloading video files is a bit '90's isn't it? There is this new thing....forgot what its called. Ah that is right...youtube
  8. Here is all I have from Winton. Go nuts. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=search_playlists&search_query=ssxracer21+winton&uni=3
  9. Yeh I'm not quite sure what he is trying to do there. There is a huge difference between a 22 and a 34, I'm sure it will be sorted out Alfa are always on the ball.
  10. Sounds interesting! You still have the DVD I gave you?
  11. errrrrr, wtf. Got car park?
  12. What state? You will need a tune, nistune. There is a search box up the top right, select 'this forum' and punch nistune into that. Drop an nismo, tomei, bosch fuel pump in the car and run 14PSI with a nistune and you will actually run 230kw. Don't just get a high flow and run the standard ECU, no point.
  13. ^^ lols yes that was very amusing!
  14. There is a bunnings just across the road
  15. I thought it was the NOS kit and stand alone engine management system fitted to the new one that made the extra power?
  16. I have an extra cable with a climbing shackle. But you can also still read that either way. The standard unit has two separate fasteners, they are not 'mounted' separately. But they are different devices.
  17. heahea well done, sweet talker obviously. The last... every-time I've gone through they have given me the line I gave you. Just passing it on.
  18. lol the CAMS website, where do I start... Neil sent out another update. 89 drivers entered, I'm No. 80.
  19. It is all semantics, but you will find that if you are not a WRX and turn up without a tri-angle you will be told to put one on.
  20. That rule is only for the default car of the club running the day...ie a WRX. All other cars require a battery tri-angle. Blue piece of contact from the news agent, cut up is easy enough. Stick it on the body pointing to the battery. Do you know what pads are in there? How much meat is left on em? While what Russ says is true. Youre just starting out and wont be piling the speed and deceleration on as much as we do. So you may not go through the set, but OEM like pads don't cut it at Sandown. I scared myself shizles the first time I went there on lucas pads. Those kind of pad go from, sponge to nothing. So you get sponge coming onto the main straight, then nothing into turn one... I can help you on Saturday swap the pads and bleed RBF600 into the lines if you like. The alternative is to do two laps with the current setup, cool down for two then go for another one then come in. A1RM's as a minimum with Motul / Martini Racing RBF600 fluid. I was going through 2/3rd of a set of an A1RM at each Sandown Track Day when I got confident.
  21. If you have ex gate, you will not pass. Straight through exhaust will be pushing it, side exit exhaust will fail. Normal cat'les exhaust with a cannon will pass easy. Roy got done at the last sandown, as did a tier 3 V8 Supercar.
  22. I did find the new gen Drift Cat was cut a bit differently than the previous generation. But after wearing them for a while, they have worn in ok. At sprint days (VIC) you generally see RPM FIA boots and drift cats. I see some oakley and alpine star. I'm always looking at what shoes people are wearing during the briefings
