  1. PIARC Saturday are not timed, but racechrono works fine. The Saturday PIARC are also grouped as follows: - race cars - experience drivers (fast) - newer drivers (slow) - open wheel - karts I would defiantly be doing PI in place of Sandown for EC practice Russ. Also Alfa are at PI on the 2nd of July.
  2. For non competition days ie timeattack / sprint days. Puma Drift Cat, get em from footlocker atm 2x pairs for $150. Go in with a mate....$75ea.
  3. AASA only gives you Winton, Calder and Haunted Hills, dis is why it is only $50. While cams is $100 and gives you access to the whole lot.
  4. Is that a turn up or what, 3x second place.....

    heaheha, good stuff.
  6. You will also need: - fire extinguisher securely attached to the car and within reach of the driver - blue battery triangle 15cm x 15cm x 15cm - two bonnet restraints, most cars have this standardhttp://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/366732-sau-vic-motorsport-championship-round-4/
  7. Entry https://secure1.ilis...ntroduction.php Sub Regs https://secure1.ilis...t_Supp_Regs.pdf Requirements CAMS L2S CAMS club membership with current date (SAU VIC Membership) Fire Extinguisher Two bonnet latching mechs (the standard double latch is ok, but for older cars with the single latch no good you need a second with a tie down strap) Blue battery triangle 150mm x 150mm x 150mm (get yourself some blue contact from the news agency and cut one up!) See you there. 2011 SAU VIC Motorsport Championship proudly sponsored by:
  8. ^ as above, become a member of SAU VIC through Halle, you will get two stickers in the members pack. Order more through Birds if needed.
  9. bit of interest around....
  10. Pretty much the same lid. There are a couple extra holes in the GTR lid, but generally the knock off wings don't have the supports for the extra holes anyway. Get a shit load a sikaflex black and glue it down hard, use the 4x studs and bolt as well of-course.
  11. I don't think so?!?! Replacing the T1-S. T1-Sport is a KU31 like tire (or the KU31 is a T1-S like tire...either way, hankook evo etc etc). So good overall life and grip on the road. Ok for light track days, 2-4 seconds a lap slower than R1-R. R1-R is a KU36 / 595RSR / AD08 like tire. Fantastic dry grip on the road, standard wet grip on the road. Will wear faster than T1-Sport, but super grippy on the track. Harder sidewalls for better cornering, compound built to last with heat. Generally lower means softer, means faster on the track, means more wear on the road. so 10-15,000km instead of 15-25,000km. T1-Sport UTQG = 240 R1-R UTQG = 140
  12. bumping this, some great images.

  15. Bit sad, as I love my ksports. 3/4 through the first pad set (blue stuff) on the front no problems and 7-8 track days down. IMO there is no way that I would even consider measuring mine...the calipers, pads and rotors where cheaper than DBA5000's and pads. They are what they are.
  16. Get your entries in for this people.
  17. rain is 1-5mmm and probably be before most people get to shep.
  18. And you will look in your rear mirror and see people spearing off the road, as they have been knocked out because of the fumes coming from your car.
  19. Bang for buck is getting a second hand system from the FS section. But if you want new. http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=16318&cat=448&page=1 Then get your local exhaust joint to weld in a large body centre muffler and take the hot dog (the lump in the section at the top of the pic) out. The alternate is to attract lots of police attention, as it will drone hard. Ditch the stocker cat (keep it though, just in-case) http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18070&cat=275&page=1 That will leave you enough coin for a pod filter and box.
