  1. I know this doesn't have your 'mass gathering blah', but I really like this image. Both of the below have images with groups of skylines. GOR 2009 http://s636.photobuc...20April%202010/ GOR 2010 http://s636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/ssxricho/SAU%20GOR%20April%202009/
  2. for those on the lazy here is a direct link straight to Troy's sliding action. Mat, I'm on Blue Stuff front and Yellow Stuff rear. Got em from these guys http://ksport.co.uk/. iirc the rear pads for $135 landed and the fronts were $170. My Fronts are big though. 6 track days down and the rears have 85%, fronts have 40%. I used PMU HC+ from rhdjap when I had the standard calipers, but was only getting 3-4 track days out of em. They had better initial bite than the blue I have now, though very much the same. But at $250+ a pair... I'm not sure if you can get some hawk pads form the states on the cheap cheap with the dollar?
  3. looks like we will be able to drive to this meet and not have to use the boat as per the last one.
  4. racechrono2avi, all you need to do is export the csv data from the gps (not sure if that will work with the qstarz data). http://www.racechrono.com/news/?p=92 then bring them together with premiere elements. you got kids? you can get elements student edition, $90. Else $130-140 ish. and me giggling as Troy gets his sideways on.
  5. well I didn't make mine, but they are solid mounted. car vs wall at 50kmh, rail held up fine. http://www.nzkw.com/nzkw-bolt-on-seat-subframe-skyline-r3233-p-250.html
  6. lol your lockup into 1 had me totally distracted and I braked 10-15m too late. way too deep.
  7. mmmmmmmmmm good food.
  8. Jack, with limited seat time, you had the car pegged almost from the get go. The silver with black enkeis looks the part as well. I can't believe the Femno and Jonny car went through another set of pads. You guys drive the nuts off that car The weather the way it was, PB's were had all around (would have been nice if the sun stayed out mind you and put some heat in the track) Marty and John in the GTR also got PB's. Bloody brilliant day. Troy where is the video of you sliding out of the 110deg left corner. I have one of me looking in the rear mirror giggling like a school girl. But here is the last session of the day. Me chasing Justin chasing Troy
  9. saab / volvo....errrrr damn it
  10. 34R / Eastbear seats are ok for track work. They allow you to still have feeling in your ass once you arrive at the track as well. 32/33 are almost useless as the shoulder wings are not large enough. And get some KU31's they own in the wet from all reports. They cost more than KU36 for a reason.... How is your car now Hamish that is sounds like s Saab wagon? Also youtube'nes right here
  11. It is on people. Going to be a good weekend.
  12. Please take note of this people! You must (and any passenger) wear pants down to your ankles, long sleeve shirt / jumper (with the sleeves down at all times)! We will be policing. SAU VIC Motorsport long sleeves 'T will be available for purchase on the day Link
  13. They 'Blitzd' Camp Rd yesterday arvo in a similar fashion. Copper blocking the rd with tri-pod sitting there, funneling cars into the car park were there was a drug/booze bus.
  14. I can check, but they came off a 97' White 33 GTST with just over 100k.
  15. Mofo! ctrl + c
  16. Track day at Winton $160. Passenger laps all day, timing included. Need at least a AASA, which you can get on the day for ~$50 and will last 12 months.
  17. life he
  18. They run so many passengers during the day (all sessions are passenger) that insurance for the passengers is needed, thus the $20. Don't expect an email from Adam again until 1-2 days before the event. 15deg is awesome, street tires love it. I remember setting a 39 with less power, suspension and braking mods than I have now on 235 KU36, 12 months ago in similar weather (colder, the guys that had towed up in the morning were scraping ice off the race car).
  19. better not impinge on the july wrx day!
  20. ive got a 3" dump. but when you run a small highflow (21U) around the track for 3 months the manifold and exhaust housing on the turbz don't last. Mine is leaking atm (near blowing the gasket to shit) and will only do 1-2 more track days before it all needs to come out again.
  21. the class doesn't matter, just put a time down (i dont fill class in). they run groups based on time. they can do DD from what i remember, email [email protected] they do run a pace car. I haven't been able to get along to one of their days with year. but i've been told they are still running it. sessions are 8-10mins iirc
  22. Didn't hear about this at the time. Under a rock obviously.
  23. Hells yes. Sorry those with RE55's.
