Hey there this thread is interesting but as the previous people discussed Liqiud injection can be used in high hp applications with either the use of twin injectors or the new improved high flow liqiud injectors, We have converted a few Xr6 turbos with this system and its fantastic and with a decent tune can produce in excess of 300 kw at the wheels and more, with extra injectors can go beyond this, liqiud cannot backfire as its the same principles as a petrol fuel system, just under higher pressures. we can currently fit kits to any pre-2004 vehicles with custom setups available, the only down side of a liqiud conversion is the cost, in excess of 5k for a custom setup/tune but the results are amazing my 2c worth cheers john
  3. no the getrag s15 6 speeds are garbage unless you strengthen them, we see them break very often at 180 rwkw. i suggest a RB25 box with an adaptor kit. we have fitted many of these and they are tough.
  4. can u be more specific ? is the nut that that hold fifth coming loose or is the counter shaft breaking? or is the sleeve stripping. ? Yes to much backlash in a diff will cause the gears to hammer hard every time u acclerate/declerate nissan boxes are very touchy to this, I would also reccomend Checking that you have a soft centre clutch, if you in melb by anychance drop into my shop

  6. could be both now, sounds like the the thrust bearing is sticking to the snorkel of the gearbox causing the clutch to "drag" wich in turn has caused your sycoros to die, all bad news there,
  7. dont have one but can make you one up if wanted,
  8. you can lower the pedal height by adjusting the master rod on the clutch pedal in the car. also a bigger diameter slave will take more travel to push the clutch fork the same distace, (makes it lighter) but you can usally adjust this out using the master rod in the car, very simple really,

Hey there have been doing this for sometime now and thought i would start advertising on this site, Nistune mapping and installs using our mainline 2wd dyno, Also specialising in all mechanical repairs and upgrades .
