Hey all, i love my auto V cause its a daily drive, and traffic is in sydney is crap as we all know. But when im just driving around, i love flicking it into semi auto mode and going through the gears as per a manual. Problems i have!!! #1 it seems when the car is cold (i duno why) shifting up seems to lag ALOT. you go to 2nd, then it wont go to 3rd until it wants to, which takes 2-5 pushes up on the gearshift. This is very annoying as the car revs out and it sounds like i cant drive. #2 is the stupid system that doesnt allow gears at certain speeds. On the way up, 4th wont engage under 40 and 5th under 50. Now throwing it in auto mode is i guess the obvious thing to do, but its sometimes just annoys me. And on the way down aswell, i like how it'll let you flick from 4th to 2nd with a few flicks, but not being able to get into 1st over 50km/ph, sometimes is annoying and more so on the track. I know its to save the engine, but c'mon, its a strong engine! Is there anything that can be done? ECU? Retune? I guess i should have got the manual

Flat ones will be around $50AU a set if we can get 10 people interested. So flat white coupe indicators, not the one in the pictures, which have the bump. Who's interested?

I'll get some photos up today. The nismo really lets the rasp come through, which sounds good and bad. Its funny, in the cabin im thinking tin can, but outside it sounds ok. But it seems once it warms up a bit, the rasp goes away and its just deep and nice. I'll also post some photos up for the nismo sale, the muffler is still for sale

Got this done today, $60. Best $60 ive spent. The nismo muffler shines now, nice raw when you hit it, no real drone. Its a very good move if your doing a basic muffler upgrade.

I have only just bought this and put it on the car, it sounds great, but ive been offered a full system so i thought id see if anyone wants to get this off me. I had to get a pipe made so it'll bolt right on to the V35 (This cost $100 in parts and labour) Its a Nismo full polished stainless muffler, it does add a growl (its louder, but not over loud, but if you give it a kick it gets good). Nismo isnt cheap, and exchange rate isnt great. I'm looking for $1100 ONO as i had to ship this from WA, get it installed and get the pipe made so it'll bolt on, if no interest i'll happily keep it. I'm in sydney and can post. Pics on the way and a sound clip.

i'll take a video later today and show you all what i mean. The nismo muffler is good, but it could be a tiny bit louder, not for power, but just to make it sound a bit tougher.

i now have a nismo muffler installed, its nice and deep, but could use a slight kick. Maybe i should try removing the middle muffler and see the difference.

So how much will it increase flow without it? and how much louder will it get? I dont want stupid loud, just enough rumble.

Hey all, quick question. The middle muffler / resonator part in the middle of the stock system, is it just a noise reducer or drone reducer or what? Will removing it make the exhaust louder? I do have a after market muffler but it could be that tiny bit louder. Its deep but needs an extra kick. Or will it stuff with epa if i take it out etc etc Thanks all.

i have these wheels. i think they look pretty good. 19's and a good dish.

TV doesnt work, so dont worry Not sure what the standard system is. If its in good condition, get it. If you'll always think about what your missing, wait for one to come up.
