We have come up with a new event format for the driver looking to perfect his or her driving technique and still enjoy being very competitive. Out lap one only 3 Perfect Laps In lap Target is minimum of 6 timed runs potentially 7 or 8 runs. So the Winner will be the person that has timed laps closest to each other. Car #1 example COLT Lap 1 45.01 Lap 2 45.04 Lap 3 45.06 seconds Car #2 example HOLDEN Ute Lap 1 47.01 Lap 2 47.02 Lap 3 47.03 seconds Of these two cars Car #2 will be deemed to have completed the more perfect laps as they were closest to each other. Trophies will be awarded to the three most Perfect drivers.

We are holding our second track day in a few weeks at the Marulan Driver Training Centre. Looks like some GTR's are already locked in for this event including at least one R35 the R32 that came to our last event found the track quite enjoyable and was the best on the SkidPan for sure. Some Photos http://oztrackdays.com/marulan.htm It is a shorter track .... but you are mainly missing straight length. Wakefield has less elevation change and in my honest opinion less challenging and less exciting, I drove the tracks back to back one day after the other and I love Marulan's layout. No one that I have spoken to has not enjoyed their time on this piece of fresh tarmac. Wakefield will tax your car more but your driving talent less.

Dual drivers of the same car are permitted each driver pays normal fee. Passengers are Permitted and encouraged (restricted to paying drivers) There will be five groups of eight cars in 12 minute sessions.
