Insurance wont be too bad, will be in dad's name. Quiet honestly, only mods I care about are FMIC 3" TURBO back exhaust. It that it's impossible to get a 33 with said mods under $14,000! And these are modded AND cheaper. Honestly, there's one for $9000 from a car dealer on research road but I worry about it coz I don't know anything about them. For my very first car i was ripped off bad, BHG 2 months after gettin' it and it wasn't covered by the warranty. Hiya guys, currently I'm keen on buying a R33. I would of course get rid of that front bar. Car 1 seems to have fewer modifications though, so if i do get defected would that be better? They're both great cars, both round the same price too. I've driven in car 1, haven't in car 2. sadly I don't trust my manual driving to take either for a test drive, but car 1 drives well. Also, car 1's clutch makes a weird noise every once in a while. he said that's because it's a twin plate clutch. is that true? the sound is a sort of rattle. This is going to be the daily. I got little experience with the RB25, but out of 6 cars I went and saw this one's engine bay looked completely different. If I do buy it I will take pics. Front facing intake plenum? what is that? :S And i know pod filters are obvious Aleks

It's not covered in stickers No GTR spoiler. When i get it i'll post up some pics of the engine bay, it's unusual looking but very tidy and very stock looking. Car hasn't got chrome rims, ain't dumped to the ground either. IMO it looks sporty. Not really RACE like. If i get defected then it's err...back to stock i guess Aleks

G'day guys, I'm currently looking to buy a R33 GTS-T in adelaide. After seeing the SA defect thread I think I would like only minor mods. I.E pods, 3" turbo back exhaust, aftermarket alarms. Does need to be tidy, I don't want a 33 road legal track car. Manual is a must. After I sell my MZ20 I will have roughly $15,000 to barter with. Okay guys. I just read through 18 pages of this. Is it really as bad as it seems? I'm a P plater currently and will be driving a 33 soon... Engine Mods *TO3-4 turbo *G-ready plenum *Injectors *Headers *GTR intercooler *GTR fuel pump *Oil cooler *Double plated clutch *Up graded brakes *3 1/2 inch exhaust system Interior *Recaro bucket seat *Grey dash *Turbo timer *Boost gauge *Pioneer sound system Exterior *400R full body kit *17 inch white rims *Tinted windows *No dents and good paint That's the specs there for the car. I have to drive down Grand junction road to Old port road 5 days a week. Am I gonna get defected on my first day? Also. Exactly how much does an engineers certificate cost? Would it be expensive for the list of modifications there? Currently drive an MZ20 but it's a dead sleeper, cops pull me over and don't even know it's a turbo. To get the said car up there through regency, exactly what would I have to take off it? Awaiting your opinions... Cheers, Aleks

I'm always hated skylines, always thought of them as a japanese commodore that is' nearly as common as the australian one But since actually having driven one, and being in a GTR this has greatly, GREATLY changed my point of view. So much that I know want one with only $15,000 to spend sadly a GTR is out of sight for me but i'm gonna get myself a nice GTS-T and use it as my daily. About me? I'm a croatian kid 18 years old, a motor mechanic apprentice. I currently drive an MZ20 but i'm selling it an upgrading to a 33 Now I've been lurking here for a while reading up on nearly every thread I could. But I still have some questions! Can anyone tell me what kind of power this would make? Owner has no dyno results. 2. What amount of boost is safe? On my MZ20 I never went past 7psi as that was stock and I didn't want to blow the engine up. 3. What oil? I've used penrite 20w 50 on my MZ20 but that's an old engine. From the guild on here I couldn't actually figure out an answer... 4. Recently went to a dealer who was selling a really nice stagea, but it was sold. he showed me two GTS-T's he had for sale. $10,000 for a S1 and $15,000 for an S2. Isn't the difference purely cosmetic + dual air bags on S2? I've got 2 buyers keen on buyin' my car now so I need to pick out a nice 33 fairly soon Anyhoo that's it fellas, I'll probably be a lil' more spoken now and lurk a little less.
