Here's one of the more simpler headlights ive modded for a mate: Just black housings + RED looking projectors during the day. In case youre wondering, it doesnt effect the light output.

S2000 pros are different to Euro. These are the top 2 OEM projectors to come out of the east. S2K has a slightly wider beam pattern and has more color flicker at the cutoff than euro. But you certainly pay for it. Euro is a good bang for buck projector. Infiniti Q45 projectors: yeah heard about these projectors but have never seen light output pix I will be running: - Infinity FX35 Bi-Xenon (low & high beamn) projectors in the "low beam" housing - S2K AP1 Xenon (low beam) projectors in the "high beam" housing - fog light left standard Ive got a thread on my custom heads on the EvoOz forum, but I dont thing ppl here would wanna see Evo VII heads on a Skyline forum Yes, VII heads do have projectors but they dont match the width and colour of an S2K. I want the best!!! What do you mean other 3????

Thanks for sharing. Thats the first ever retrofit Ive seen done to R34 heads. But it looks like the donor heads are the Non-Xenon ones due to the look of the parkers. In my opinion the housing should have been painted black with the silver trimming (Xenon look). The gap around the "low beam" housing looks too big. A "shroud" to cover this gap up would have looked better. The only thing im going to do with this project is replace the "low beam" chrome reflector with the S2000 projector. I will fabricate a shroud out of fibre glass, using stockings to form the shape and paint it black to blend in with the rest of the housing. Try and keep looking OEM as possible If you have ever seen the width and sharpness of an S2000 cutoff line you'll know why im opting for this projector. Currently doing a quad projector setup on my Evo VII, so im no stranger to custom retrofits. and yes! S2K is one of the projectors

Just confirming if youve used either the: - Bosch kit - Phillips kit before? Professional opinion: Is there a justifyable difference in choosing the Phillips kit? Ive heard both brands are good quality. PM me bank details. Although not listed, Im after 4300K kits. If none, highest ill go is 5000K. D2S, 35w - brand, pending your reply

Fair enough. If money is no option then convert your high beam to HID. If youre good at DIY's then you'll save money on istallation. If not, theres more money to fork out for a pro install. Cheaper option: Stick with halogen high but change the bulb to 90w or 100w. plug n play FTW!!

Washers: designed to wash off dirt particles off the head light lense so as to keep the beam pattern undisturbed (easy for the eyes of on comming traffic) check the vid in post #3 washers are really a crock of $h!t.. How are they supposed to take off bug guts??? ADR attempt to protect on comming traffic. Has little if no effect on cleaning the head lights.. but hey, rules are rules Hi-Low beam: Depends how deep your pockets are if you wanna get HID high beam as well. My opinion, leave high beam as Halogen. How often do you drive with your highs on?? save you money

Stick with OEM kelvin rating (4300K). If you have to go higher then no more than 5000K. These are "white" enough.. "Blue" 8000K are just shocking. Cant stand them HID's need also need these to be legal: - Auto Levellers - Washers. Pricing?? alot more than aftermarket kits. Im sure someone else can comment on aftermarket kits

Hey guys, Im trying to find out if R34 head lights are interchangable (with modding) between models (GT / GTT). More so interested if they all fit the GTR? Any physical or visual differences between all head lights? - I would assume that non xenon heads do not have the "Xenon" lettering in the low beam housing - GTRs have the "silver" trimming around the edges of the low + high beam housing and GT & GTT heads are just black?? - Indicators look different Correct me if im wrong Any other differences? Will end up buying a set so I can do some custom work and retrofit a pair of S2000 projectors into the low beam housing for a mates GTR. Havent heard or seen this done before. Hope to be the first! hi guys, Im new to the forum. Spend most of my time at evolutionoz.net coz I have an Evo VII. Love doing custom work on cars. Currently doing custom head lights and tail lights for my VII. A friend of mine has a BNR34 GTR with a few bolt on mods. Car drives very well! great crusing car compared to the Evo but going around corners and ill take the Evo hands down. Basically, the reason I joined up was for 2 reasons: - Ive always respected the R34 GTR. Looks very tuff out of the box. The best OEM rims on a car, comfy & nice shaped buckets, LCD display, pumped rear gaurds. I may consider buying one later on down the track (still keep the Evo of course) So Id like to learn as much as i can about the car. problems associated, what mods give good gains, CF add ons etc. - been involved doing my custom head lights (using S2000 + Infinity FX35 projectors for a quad set up). Been contemplating on doing an S2000 projector retrofit for my mates GTR. Im in the process of trying to buy a 2nd hand pair of R34 head lights. Xenon or non xenon.. dont really care. for those of you in the know, what are the differences between the GT / GTT / GTR head lights in terms of: - physical features - Visual features - fittment on GTR - pricing throughout the whole range I dont know if anyone has ever done a projector retrofit to a set of R34 heads before? Id like to be one of the first to complete a set for my friend of mine. I look forward to giving and recieving advice on SAU.
