Am having problems mounting my oil cooler, any advice or suggestions please http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/462127-help-with-oil-cooler-intall-location-r33gts-t/ -
Hi, Need some advice please on oil cooler install for r33gts-t. I went and bought a Trust kit, but in the instructions it says to mount it in front of the radiator. Most guys on here mount their oil coolers in the drivers side wheel arch so I tried to do that. Compared to a few pics on here i saw, i think my oil cooler might be a bit wider and longer than most ? Anyway, I thought i had a good spot mounted but then had problems with the clearance at the top for the hoses to connect to. My kit came with 45's, I could go and get them changed for 90's but I am still not sure if i would have enough clearance ? I quite like the current location, if i drop the oil cooler lower or back close to the tyre, it is going to hit/rub against the bottom of front spoiler and that metal hook underneath the car ? At the moment I have about a finger width between the cooler and hook.... Also with the bottom bracket, I couldn't drill through the bracket so I had to chuck in a couple of nuts Suggestions / advice please ?

Nice looking car and build thread. I made 279 pump and 295rwkw on e85. SS2 turbo, stock manifolds. I was told external gate and custom exhaust manifold will give another 30kw -

Love the black with the Enkei's. How did the 10.5 fit at the back before the arches ? You had 235 on, could you go any wider or was that the limit ? -

I installed the coilovers myself and had Pedders Suspension Morphett Vale fit front and rear camber kit. With the new Direzza tyres, coilovers, camber kit and alignment I was very happy with the way it handled. Was a massive difference to when I first got it with Tein's, 19" Buddy Club wheels with Kumho KU31 tyres. After only a few drives there was a horrible knocking noise coming from under the car. I jacked up the car and went over all the nuts and suspension but couldn't find anything wrong with it. I took it back to Pedders Morphett Vale and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I went home again and went over everything. It still made that noise so I took it back again to Pedders. They couldn't find the noise and sent me to a diff specialist. Still couldn't find the noise so I gave up and just let the car sit for 6 months. I then rang Pedders Morphett Vale who I found out had closed. I then went to Marion. As my car was still a bit hard I thought I would replace the solid Swaybar link kit with nolathane. This made the car less harsh and the annoying noise had actually gone. I asked Marion Pedders to lower my car a little (not stupid) and align it. When I picked it up, it was heaps low. The manager there assured me it wasn't too low and wouldn't rub or scrape. After going for my first drive it was scraping really bad and over a pothole hit and cracked the paint on the front guard. I took it back to Marion Pedders, who told me they raised it and it drove nicely. I drove it out and instantly noticed it pulled to the left. I drove back, they told me they were too busy so we decided to book it in another time. I dropped it off next week for 4 days, only to pick it up and nothing had changed. I rang them and they told me they were flat out but would do it in a couple of weeks. I booked it in again, picked it up, got assured it was good and didn't pull to the left only to find out they hadn't even touched it again.... I was going to write a complaint letter to Pedders but just couldn't be bothered. Marion was 20-25 mins drive for me. I booked it into Andy's Tyrepower at Seaford. They have done quite a few drift and circuit cars. I was happy with their alignment and the car drove great after they had set it all up again after the Marion headache... -

In 2011 I decided my old Tein's needed changing as they were just too hard. I went with BC coilovers BR series and was happy on the improvement -
Tyres you use(d) and how u would rate them

Are you talking about Dunlop Direzza Z2 Star Spec ? If so, were they second hand at that price ? -
Hi, Just got a 2way Nismo LSD, was going to install it myself but then read up that it is probably better to get a professional to do it and adjust/set it up correctly. Can someone please recommend a decent workshop ? thanks

Anybody tried these guys for a tow bar on their V36 Skyline ? http://www.towbar.co.nz/vehicles/quickinfo.asp?id=1716

My Nismo 2-way arrived and am researching/googling what oil to run with it. Had a look at the Castrol LSX90 and also found Castrol do a 85W-140 ( as do Nulon ) I read that Nismo oil is re-labelled from Motul ? http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=460691 Motul 75W-140

Looking for some decent tyres for my gf's car - she goes up in the hills a bit and with winter coming i want something good for her. budget $7-900 for a set. Was looking at these from tirerack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=UHP Dumlop direzza dz102 or maybe even Kumho SPT (ku31) or the firestone firehawk ? thanks -
Hi, was looking for some advice/opinions. Ive researched and had a read up on oil coolers and LSD for my car. Car is R33 GTS-t S2 soon to be around 300rwkw. Driven maybe twice a month and a few track days per year. Oil cooler - I see a few guys had done their own and cost $3-400. (quite like the article http://www.trak-life.com/diy-r33-skyline-oil-cooler-with-thermostat/) I was looking at the Trust / Greddy 13 row oil cooler kit at $586 from RHD. http://www.rhdjapan.com/trust-greddy-standard-oil-cooler-kit-ecr33-rb25det.html or possibly the 19 row Mishimoto universal oil cooler http://www.prospeedracing.com.au/products/Mishimoto-19-Row-Universal-Oil-Cooler-kit-Black.html. Any problems in hooking up a oil temp and oil pressure gauge up to the sandwich plate ? Both have a thermostat ? Onto LSD now, I was thinking of going a Nismo GT LSD 1.5 way (over a 2 way) http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-gt-lsd-nissan-s13-silvia-180sx-r32-r33-z32-a31-c33.html RHD also stock Kaaz, Tomei, Cusco, OS Giken and ATS carbon http://www.rhdjapan.com/search/index/index/engine/nissan_skyline_gts25-ecr33-kouki-1-96-5-98-eng-rb25det/model/nissan_skyline/car/nissan/category/engine-and-drivetrain_differentials-and-output-shafts/?dir=asc&order=price_l&p=2 Any advice on this purchase and anything else I should consider ? Buy at RHD or somewhere else ? Any future probs I might have or important things to know with the install and oil temp and oil pressure gauge install ? thanks
