  1. I just installed whiteline sway bars on 2007 v36 skyline sedan. The fronts are quite easy, 4 x 14mm nuts on to the chassis and 2 x 17mm nuts for the sides - might need a spanner on the rear of these. The install on the rear was painful, you have to drop at least one side of the exhausts. It is a 12mm clamp bolt to undo the exhaust. All 6 nuts are 14mm for the rear uninstall / install. While I was at it in got new nuts from autobahn. Champion high tensile FBM164 flange nuts M10x1.25 pack of 10 for $8. Whiteline parts for v36 skyline http://www.whiteline.com.au/do_segue4.php?make=NISSAN&model=SKYLINE&model_final=SKYLINE+V36+RWD&vehicle=11%2F2006-ON complete kit with links http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=BNK007&sq=19203 Also a video for v36 skyline sedan sway bar install - its not great but at least you can see he has the same exhaust as our models
  2. Just about to install the whiteline sway bars in our v36 sedan. Two settings for the front and three for the rear. What setups are you guys going for these days ? As its a daily driver i was just going to go n the softest settings to see how that goes first....
  3. So just the coupes get Akebonos then ? Do Brakes Direct stock EBC & DBA ? We got the discs machined but its nice to have a SAU page reference for next time I have to do the brakes ....
  4. bump for an old listing. Any other opinions on coilovers ? I would like to know the ride quality (as i am old with a bad back) going from standard suspension to coilovers
  5. That is porn, what are the wheel and tyre specs ?
  6. Thanks qdhung for the info. I thought i would just double check with EBC directly Those front EBC brake pads are DP31807C The front rotors are D7459 (RK7459 in USA) from EBC From what i think the brakes from v36 sedan 2006 to late 2008 are what me and qdhung have, I think in late 2008 the v36 skyline sedan then went to the 3.7L with 7 spd auto. I am guessing they changed the brakes then to the Akebono calipers ?
  7. Mine is 330mm by 32mm thick. 2007 skyline sedan type S
  8. I forgot to add, the pads are from Intima brakes, a few guys on this forum run Intima brake pads. From what I have seen the 1509 rear brake pads are quite common and universal, the main problem us Skyline owners have is getting the front pads correct. I don't know if the front pads listed from Intima are for a coupe, or 2008 onwards sedan, or even a type P sedan ?
  9. Thanks for the info Hung, those EBC reds look the same as mine. Have you got any photos of the actual pads out of the box ? (just so i can be 100% sure before ordering) Where did you buy the EBC from please ?
  10. Here are pics of my pads and brakes. Discs / rotors are 330mm by 32mm thick. For reference our car is 2007 Skyline type S. From what i believe it is an type S as it has cloth interior, no reversing camera/sat nav, has the bigger brakes with the 18" wheels. The type S and SP share the same bigger brakes with the 18 inch wheels. The type P has smaller brakes with 17" wheels. The type P has the all leather interior and BOSE stereo I think ? I think maybe the suspension is different on the type P vs the type S and type SP. The P and SP both have leather interior with heated seats, while the S gets the cloth interior.
  11. Thanks for the advice tony, i know you said u went through rocket, is there a SAU sponsor or someone reputable to buy them through and what sort of price would i be looking at ? Ive measured the disc, but would prob want some sort of return policy rather than just going cheap of ebay
  12. Thanks I was looking around on the US site. Would you recommend the 4000 XS http://www.dba.com.au/heavy-duty-4000-xs/ or the 4000 T3 ? http://www.dba.com.au/products/clubspec-t/4000-t3/
  13. bump for a handy thread. We are having probs with our 2007 Skyline sedan type S. Shudder under braking. Went to replace the pads and were fine so am looking at front discs. If this is a common problem I am debating whether it will come back or not with aftermarket pads and/or OEM new discs. Any other experiences ?
  14. some websites say 06-08, then 09-onwards are different Some sites say V35 non brembo and v36 pads are the same. Some say suit most PV36 and some KV36. All very confusing
  15. The rear brake pads for v36 skyline look like they might be correct
  16. This is what i got from a local supplier. The fronts are different
  17. Brake pads for Skyline V36 sedan Ive spent a few days on here trying to work out part numbers and what pads to get for our 2007 Skyline v36 sedan type S. I thought this would be simples as the type S and the SP have bigger brakes than the type P, but there are different types of model numbers and different info out on the net... Any advice or info ? Ive attached a few pics, I didn't really want the hassle of jacking the car up, pulling the pads out to take photos of them and then putting them back in with the old pads. First photo is front, other two is rear
  18. I have a 5mm spacer on the back and i reckon i could prob go 275 on the rear (up from 265)
  19. AME Circlar Spec-M's 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10 +17. Fronts are 265/35 and rears are 305/30.
  20. The Michelin PS4S tyres run wide, so heads up there. In my rear, I was replacing a 305 Hankook V12 with a 305 Michelin PS4S, and now I rub a tiny bit. I have my bumper bracket trimmed, but apparently not enough. I can also increase my rear camber a little bit to pull the tops in, I'm currently at -1.2 in the rears, so I could go -1.5 to -1.7 or so and still be fine. Or I can just trim the bumper bracket a little more. Fronts are 275/35/19 on a 19x9.5 +45 and the rears are 305/30/19 on a 19x10.5 +43, Rays Wheels are Rays Gramlights 57Xtreme, tyres are Michelin PS4S, Lowered on Swift springs
  21. "So im trying to squeeze a 19x11 +20 295 30 out back. Camber is -2.2 should Iget a narrower tyre or drop camber to -3.2 would that work? " Answer - you are prob better off going orig camber spec with a 275 tyre
  22. Decided to pull the 295 off and save them for a different build. Went with a 275 35 instead. With the added room i was able to lower it where i wanted and keep -2.5 camber. So the specs are now 19x10 +30 275 30 front 19x11 +20 275 35 rear. When the fronts go ill probably run 275 35 19 all around.
  23. 19x9.5 +30 Front 255/35/19 (leftover from last setup, will switch to 245 or 255 40/19 when these are done) 19x10.5 +30 Rear 275/35/19 Overall, i would maybe run 5MM spacers in the front, to match the rear poke... Alignment specs are at -0.8 front, -2.0 Rear
  24. specs for this skyline v36 coupe offset stance Specs are 19x10 +20 275/30/19 19x11 +20 275/35/19
