  1. Don't think you're looking in the right section mate. Have a look at the cosmetic and styling section, will be tons of info for you there.
  2. lol yeah I don't see how everyone gets so addicted to skyrim! I got pretty bored pretty quick tbh, although I'll probably start it again sometime just for lols
  3. Engine bay looks nice and tidy mate!
  4. Hey everyone, Looking out for some extractors/headers for my 34. Just searching for a cheap set if any one wants to get rid of em. If you have any please let me know, and how much you'd want for them Cheers
  5. nice! how did u even afford a car in sg lol! but anyway off topic
  6. haha .. amusingly HSV's cars have started to be sold in singapore!! Prices start at 268,000 SGD for the Maloo, and up to 338,000 SGD for a Grange - and this is without COE! COE in singapore is apparently 91,000 for a car above 1600cc .. close to 350,000 SGD for a maloo! Road taxes of: 7,332 SGD a year!!! **edit - had a revelation: this must be why asians love rice so much ... evolution/survival theory: in order to avoid monstrous road taxes and COE payments, we have grown to like small capacity cars .. with lots of body kits, and mods - cos labour is cheap there. time to write my psychology thesis on this lol
  7. they have the same thing in singapore .. most cars there have smaller engines than the same car here. I believe lancers have a 1.6 there whereas we get a 2.0, same with alot of other cars!
  8. I used to get around 10l/100km pretty easily when i used to travel on the fway alot in my skyline. these days with a fair bit more driving closer to home and in slightly busier traffic im gettin about 11-12L/100km - still pretty decent imo, the fuel consumption doesnt bother me too much at all! if you mean you get 350-400km out of a full tank thatd be around 15? I think we have a 60 or 65L tank. If you're driving harder that'd prob be about right .. I'm a bit of a granny on the roads.
  9. Lol at the sticker mate! Nice to see you're still having fun with it though
  10. ^ true, my shitbox was a 700 dollar 91 sexcel with chrome hubcaps and a flower on the keychain and alot of other girly accessories, but it was actually a ton of fun. Kinda miss it lol no power steering was fun.
  11. ^ True BTW just saw a post in a related thread .. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/uploads/R33GTST_Whiteline_Package.jpg The whiteline springs and bilstein shocks make for awesome value. I've heard good things about them too. Quite sure they'd be cheaper than coilies and are made for our road conditions. Something else OP May want to consider
  12. ^The shocks/Springs are pretty good value for money too imo - cheaper than most coilovers.
  13. Id say it depends on your budget ... quite sure teins would be a fair bit more expensive than the BC's? Ive got BC's in mine, their great, not too hard on a softer setting and feel pretty good.
  14. Ive heard great things about the sydneykid set up. But if you're on a budget BC coilovers are pretty good! I've got them on my n/a 34 and I like them alot, not too stiff (got mine on nearly the softest setting though), but has a nice feel. Quite sure many others have had good experiences with them, but just sharing mine Good luck!
  15. Hey everyone, Selling a set of wheels, they came off my BMW E36, but they'll fit commodores and an e46 as well. Come with 225/40 maxxis tyres which have plenty of thread left, but as you can see in pics arent in fantastic condition. The wheels themselves are in decent condition, a bit of wear and tear but nothing too horrendous. The pictures are on the link here on gumtree http://www.gumtree.c...ries/1000607044 Asking price is 899 but taking offers. Located in WA - but willing to ship if you're interstate and want em!
  16. ^ LOL But I think he didn't get a n/a 34 and got a turbo one after he was on his full license but still, good call.
  17. ^ those old peugeots arent all too bad you know, the 306's and 405's and even 605's were pretty good looking cars (in my opinon - which some/many laugh at), and some of them even have some pretty decently quick engines! tbh totally wouldn't mind one at all, but no experience and haven't heard much about their reliability and whatnot off topic though
  18. they may not be very fast, but i would hardly say their crap. Perhaps not the best value for money cars, but their still nice cars, drive well and look good. with simple mods like coilovers, sway bars, and good wheels/tyres they look good and handle nicely. while there are better cars for the price (or less) if he really wants a skyline or a silvia and can only get an n/a one theres nothing wrong with them! as long as you dont treat it like a race car and try, drag race everyone at the lights, generally act like an idiot on these forums and think you're the fastest guy around, and continually spam us all for info on how to make your car faster and acknowledge the car for what it is I don't see the problem.
  19. ^ totally know what you mean about the gt-r's front bumper you can achieve a similar but distinguished look by combining a bonnet mole, gt-r bonnet, and normal gtt front bumper my main opinion is that although the gt-rs front bumper and general look is awesome, the best kit for that purpose (the east bear one), or doing a "conversion" with the guards and whatnot is extremely costly, and you can get a very nice gtt for far cheaper with standard gtt kits. just my opinion though and yes. NO GT-R BADGES.
  20. Hyperdrive for me .. although im around claremont so it a bit of a trek for me.. kinda considering finding somewhere a bit closer!
  21. im not really a fan of making a gt or gtt look like a gt-r, there are some great body kits that are made for gtt's and will fit far easier than the gt-r style ones which require new fenders, bonnet, bumpers .. gtt's are great looking cars as they are, enhance them with body kits made for them rather than try to make it look like something its not Just my opinion anyway, i used to drool after a gt-r's looks too I personally love the look of the impul and altia? (some know them as nismo kits) for gtt's, have a look at them if you haven't already! top secret has a pretty nice front bumper too. If you want the gt-r look on the front you could even just get a gt-r style bonnet, gtt bumper and those moles as well... if you can get what im saying. I like that look alot, somewhat gt-r like but still distinctively gtt itll be a lot cheaper than a east bear kit both to purchase and fit, and you can use the saved cash for some performance bits if you're dead set on the east bear kit - as previously said, nengun and east bear themselves, i believe you can sometimes get some of the parts off the japanese auction sites? like yahoo auctions or import monster but not 100% sure on that. not too sure if c-red still bring them in. good luck !
  22. Looks good mate! Get those black wheels on now!
