  1. on my karcher i can just turn the pressure off and take the lance off and it streams out a nice steady stream of water too
  2. That looks pretty damn sweet mate good work
  3. Hmm I've never tried Blotting before, I usually either dry with water or just use squeedgee for the horizontal surfaces, but I was always worried it may be a bit harmful to my surface but I havent seen anything bad yet .. http://www.turtlewax.com.au/accessories.htm if you go down to the bottom of the page there will be one called "zip dry squeegee" or something like that .. similar to what ive been using I'll give blotting a go next wash When I pour water I usually just disconnect the Nozzle of the hoze and let the water stream out that way .. seems to work okay? Perhaps more effective with a bucket though but it seems to be alright for me, but my surface is constantly very well waxed/sealed Sure mate add as much as you can!
  4. Perhaps I should paint it gunmetal grey - the colour of my wheels for a minor variation in colour na I joke. I'll give it a go sometime
  5. Thats genious man! Looks great Pity my cars a dark blue, it won't really show up if I did this but I may give it a go .. it is only 25 bucks!
  6. I love the looks of all the old muscley looking cars haha Really want to restore one (my skylines n/a so why throw money at it LOL) someday .. the sexcels a experiment and a cheap car to last me until I got enough money to restore and once I've done some courses on the interior trimming restoration and painting cars or something Classic Celicas are another nice one too their probably my favourite japanese one .. or the old datsun 260Z i love Classic muscle - but too expensive to work on hahah
  7. Mmmm ke70 I have a slight thing for KE rollas - how dare you call it a POS wait just noticed your thing says you have one! Lucky man I tried to find a nice KE rolla in WA for a good price as my lil bunkie to get some hands on experience mechanically (the theory on using a cheap shoddy car to learn stuff on since im likely to screw it up lol) I ended up with a 91 sexcel ... But yeah I agree with you start with something inexpensive to learn how to race in but not a ke70 rolla ... their hard enough to find! If you crash one you're ruining my chances of finding a nice one in perth someday in the future once i get rid of the sexcel
  8. Rawzz With the headlights fogging up its probably condensation from the inside causing it .. on my car the rubber seal has come loose since the front bumper is sagging with age and yeah water comes in from inside and gets the inside all foggy I'm not too sure how to go about fix it .. But with mine it goes on/off .. at the moment its perfectly clear! With the dashboard perhaps try using some window cleaning chemical? Make sure to buff it off well though cos with some window chemicals if you dont buff it off well enough when it gets cold it'll fog up like mad ..
  9. Hey Mayuri .. Umm to be honest perth is kind of lacking in detailing services I'm not too sure about the mobile detailers but as for the actual detailing workshops etc .. I work at one in osborne park and I'm rather dissapointed in the procedures we use to clean the car .. we also use cheap low quality goods which I can't imagine are too good for the cars paintwork .. For 200 bucks a car you'd expect a real good detail but its far from it Most detailers in perth are around that standard too I assume, we cater more for the dealerships to just have their car looking food for a short amount of time so that they can sell the car There also aren't many who I can find that do machine paint correction I wouldn't send my car to most of the detailers in Perth, I'd rather do it from home where I know i'm using good quality products and taking all care possible to minimise swirl marks and other damage .. If you want .. check out the mobile detailers around town, or where abouts are you located? I don't mind doing the detailing on your car if you want? PM me if you want me to do the work
  10. That looks great! Gloss Black cars are always the most rewarding to detail .. you get a mirror all around once you're done Congratulations on your results What did you end up doing for the headlights?
  11. Hahah, I always find myself trying to use up old products to move on to new ones
  12. Gohan do you seal your glass with FI Seal? Havent heard of sealing the glass yet, I usually just clay bar .. never polish it either I sometimes use glass cleaning solution (atm meguiars nxt) But only ever on the outside surface, since it doesnt say its tint safe .. otherwise i use FI's Glass system (microfibre + glass cloth)
  13. Yeap I've had a ton of very reasonable fair minded cops in Perth .. My dad was driving to the airport speeding a good 20kms over since we were late due to a road closure ... cop pulled us over, we explained why and he said dw go catch ur flight Unfortunately for WA .. judging from the people from my highschool who went to try n become cops WE'RE DOOMED
  14. that looks great mate! what products did you end up using? Ill post up pics of my skyline in a few weeks time Ordered a Bosch GEX150turbo + FI's CAP range of polishes Already got seal and claybars from other details Will post up the results of a 2 stage machine polish on my 34
  15. I think the getz is > than a mirage But I'm not much of a mitsubishi fan besides the evo ... Not too sure about where to find hail damaged cars .. but on carsales theyll usually advertise that the cars hail damaged .. and you'll notice a significantly cheaper price tag too! Gumtree is always cheaper than carsales though it seems Also get hold of a quokka .. lots of cars there
  16. I hope you never fall near mine you must be bigger than a tree! Work out much?
  17. HSV Front Bars of the VX are incredibly good looking especially on the Monaro .. All this chat makes me feel like driving a muscley car again
  18. Their almost the same I'm not too chuffed both are nice But I kinda like how the VT's lights Join together ... but the VX's are more monaro like which is cool too
  19. Also, have you considered going Korean? Not too sure what everyones opinion are on these but they arent bad imo .. for a reliable daily car Got a 06 Accent as the familys small car and nothing ever seems to go wrong with it and services are cheap too Elantra perhaps? Holy damn the new one looks nice! i45 but dont think you can get one <12,000 Kia ... The new ceratos are nice, not too sure how much they go for these days And as with i45 the new optima is pretty gorgeous ... but probably above budget
  20. owch what happened there!
  21. I was wondering about that ... I just thought in eastern states cars were a whole bunch cheaper lol
  22. VTs are imo the best looking commos ...
  23. Oh yeah forgot mazda 6 their great cars! What do you think of the mitsu 380? Their pretty cheap I'm quite sure .. Drove one when I was in the states it felt a bit light/flimsy .. but they look good and all imo Not too sure if you're into it but its another option i guess
  24. what doesnt we're slow as but back on topic .. ae92 rollas look good in all forms, sedan, hatch, seca ... do they have a/c though? I looked at a few 91 Rollas for about 1k + .. no a/c I dont mind n15 pulsars, i prefer them to n14s .. OP would you consider automatic cars? could get a good falcodore for that price .. in auto though ..
