  1. Thanks victor will get in touch with him just wondering, did he get the body kit in for you? or did you supply it yourself the only places ive got in touch with so far require me to buy the bodykit with them (they generally use carmate ...) Dani Boi: yeah ill give them a call and have a look at them too, just seeing what my options are at the moment before i make the decision thanks for the help guys
  2. Hey mate, that would be great, just wondering, did you fit a fibreglass kit or a plastic one? a whole bunch of panelbeaters just refused to even try fitting a fibreglass, the only place i could find so far is Instyle Customs and The Spoiler Shop .. both who get their kits from carmate ... which ive heard mixed reviews about
  3. hey guys, i know this is a massive thread revival ... but has anyone had experience with the work done at the spoilershop? Looking to get a rear bumper from them and fitting it and painting it Also, i noticed you guys actually fitted bodykits on, did you guys use fibreglass kits? I called around a whole bunch of panelbeaters today, and 90% said no to fitting the kit if it was fibreglass .. was told that they did not fit well Can anyone help me out? I'm really keen on getting the Nismo S tune rear bumper from JSAI (theres a local supplier in perth - modyourcar)
  4. lucky for you you're in melbourne!! wish we had a FI in perth im never happy with what i can do myself i really need a pro to do the first one and then just maintain it after that but theres not much in perth
  5. yeah I remember her she was a beauty Was planning on switching the GT for something, but way too attached so theres gonna be a mass load of mods going to it Btw are you on the Final Inspection forums too?
  6. if u dont have a high pressure unit just go down to a pay n spray at a petrol station SS8_Gohan didnt you use to have the 34 GT-T with the east bear kit? The Nur looks lovely though
  7. dans got em for both the dash and a/c unit mate, good stuff too
  8. hey mate i used Tint a car in the northbridge area, they quoted me the cheapest price out of all the tint a car places around perth but you might wanna check out other companies cos ive noticed that in other threads about tinting people got darkest legal tint significantly cheaper! but this may have been in other states, im quite sure they were in melbourne/sydney mine was 370 for the octane tint from tint a car, and that was with a 100 bucks off on a special promo so i recommened googling some other companies and calling em up and comparing it, and if not check out tint a car in northbridge, i was happy with the job they did and everything
  9. How about some ROTA's for that kinda money? I got mine locally from Vision R, their about 990 for the whole set Wei's got stock in atm, so you could go check it out Just be careful, his customer service was kinda annoying, First he told me he didnt have the wheels i wanted and they were only coming in in about a month, then he told me that he actually already has some in stock in my size, and that i could pick it up anytime, when i called to say i wanted to pick em up, he said hes never actually had em in and the shipment was coming in 2 weeks, and that 2 weeks became 4 weeks. I was also promised a set of wheel nuts from him worth $99, I never got em and had to pay another $80 for a set where I got them fitted When I told him about what happened with the wheel nuts, he said I never told him I wanted the wheels when he had that special going ... but as i'd been bugging him about the wheels and sent him an email saying yes please confirm that order ... But ATM he just got in a whole shipment of wheels, so the waiting problem shouldnt happen! Just make sure to be very clear, and maybe try to get anything he says down in writing or something if you deal with him It's most likely the cheapest way to get in ROTA's since its in Perth have a look at em at www.visionr.com.au Im not too sure what else you can get under that kinda budget ... and most people flame ROTA's but hey if thats all the budget is and your happy with em, thats all that really matters *edit* oops i didnt see your not in WA in that case you could also check out the ROTA australia website, theres also another retailer in sydney i think that sells em for a similar price to wei Good luck
  10. i try to avoid spraying too much water as im worried about the electrics etc, just to rinse the degreaser off really
  11. Hey mate, I just used a degreaser and a high pressure spray (u can go to the pay and spray at a petrol station if u dont have a high pressure unit) Simple Green is highly recommended by the guys at final inspection, but I've never tried it before, I just used up some cheaper stuff myself really
  12. yeahh i tried that, both of it no idea why it wont work if i put the stock lights in it seems to work i took it to an auto electrician today, he said itd need some soldering done or something
  13. BTW so far i have tried switching the bulbs to a different one, twisting it around a bit to make sure the contact was there, taking it out and putting it in a couple of times ... nothing really seems to be working
  14. hey everyone, the first time i did it the left and middle globes on the a/c unit didnt light up, but I couldnt remember if they did or not, so i just left it After looking at old pics, i realised they were meant to, and fiddled around a bit with em, and finally got the left one working also by switching the two lights around that werent working. I couldnt get the middle one working, even when i tried to switch the bulbs to the one on the right (the one that has always worked) Not too sure whats gone wrong with this, I used the stock bulb and that worked okay Oh and in the process of getting the middle light working the fuse blew and had to wait until today for it to get fixed -.- its now fixed, but the centre light still isnt turning on! It looks pretty silly atm ... Anybody got any ideas whats wrong/how to fix it?
  15. its cool mate sorted it out, Terence gave me a hand with it all, looks great now! thanks for all the help though everyone
  16. whats wrong with rotas? i saw in other threads that they dont hold up too well on a track and people complain about them cracking if u hit them on kerbs etc are there any other problems with them i should know about? im just on a bit of a tight budget so i dont want to be spending too much more than I am atm

  18. how about ROTA? im picking up a set of 4 18's for 990 soon from Vision R gotta source tyres seperately though but if u put say federal 595 SS on you'll be able to get it all done for less than 2000

  21. Hey everyone, as the title suggests, I just ordered some of 666DAN LED's for the dash and A/C unit, and im gonna go get some 3mm LED for the power window buttons I know its meant to be a simple enough job but im quite nervous about removing the whole dash/centre console etc Anyway, my dad and I are gonna give it a go this weekend .... Would anybody who's done this before be able to give us a hand? We can come to you we can pay you for your troubles Thanks guys btw its a r34 series 1
  22. ok cheers guys the +27s are much cheaper too hahaha
  23. Hey everyone, Looking at ROTA G-Force 18x9 5x114.3 wheels in gunmetal Would a +27 offset fit? I was recommended by ROTA for the +27s, but i was told by tyrepower that my guards would need to be rolled with +27s, and that i should stick with something from a +30 to +40 offset, so i was initially going to go for the +35 offset on those ROTA's Anybody know which fits better? Thanks everyone
  24. Thanks for the replies everyone, unfortunately i wont be getting them any time soon anymore was hoping to get it all done this weekend, however the company i was getting the rims from basically screwed me over for the last 2 weeks i have been in contact with him, and he has told me he had "many in stock, no worries come by anytime to pick em up" i was planning to pick them up today .. and when i called to say i was going to, he told me "we never actually had em in stock, our containers not coming till christmas, and we wont be bringing in your offset"
  25. joey you just saved me alot of money because of your link i checked out the 235/40 locally in perth, veeery much cheaper 175 per tyre vs 235 per tyre definitely gonna go for those works out 15 bucks more expensive than if i got em off ebay/got em fitted and balanced thanks for all the help mate
