R34 Gtr Nismo Side & Rear Skirts
Jonno34 replied to boostED82's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
by nismo do you mean the factory option kit? because up in wangara theres a place called distinctive car imports, most of their cars are kitted out with it if you mean the nismo z tune kit the only place i know of is through nismo themselves possibly and JSAI, but yeah, i still have not managed to get hold of them. -

Where Can I Get The Lip Cheaper Than Eastbear?
Jonno34 replied to barry1024's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
i think JSAI in sydney sell one called the n1 mole, looks great with their nismo gt-t z tune kit i've seen a few others, but never kept the link, if i remember em ill let u know -
gr still waiting on c-reds reply, sorry, will let you guys know the exact price as soon as they reply.
-
LOL! where'd you guys buy your nismo gear knob from? i seen em around in shops in perth for around 100 bucks, on ebay 75 bucks that a good price?
-
im lost lol ..

yeah if the east bear from c-red works out to be too expensive again, i'm planning the nismo z tune gt-t bar with n1 lip mole, vented hood from vivagarage, east bear rear since its relatively cheap and i like the stock side/rear look, some of the other kids go wayy over the top and its not very practicle for day to day use anymore. really hope that it goes for around 3k, but not overly optimistic about it. hopefully he'll reply tomorrow, he seemed like he'd be good about his emails. the west yoko kit looks pretty tough to find anyway, would rather buy local and save all the hassles of importing parts

well we'll see, like i said, it was an estimate from him over the phone .. and he will confirm the prices over an email hopefully soon... yes, looking for rims atm, hoping to do the whole exterior in one go. (rims + bodykit + lower) considering either some nice 5 spoke volks, need to have a proper look around when i have time, but the few nice rims i have seen are volks, or if i can find a well priced set the standard gt-r rims since they are quite nice. my mate can hook me up with his old r34 nismo gt-r struts, but i really dont know if that will fit my gt and yes definitely will lower it, but i drive the car a fair bit, so probably not too low since the road i take most has a ridiculous amount of speed humps .. i really do want the kit though, and if it is 3k, then probably my cheapest option and i would get it regardless, all depends on c-red's email, if that fails ill look around for the west yokohama or do the nismo gt-t bumper from jsai im gonna get this done no matter what though *edit* hoping to spend in total around 10k (or less hopefully) for the exterior (rims about 2-2.5k, body kit fitted/sprayed around 6k, suspension/lowering unsure of price, must check around) and probably another 2k or so on interior (just some nice seats and of course rails)

whoops, that reply was for the last page, didnt see that so much new stuff had been posted .. i dont really feel the urge for a huge amount of power atm, but im sure the urge will come soon enough. haha.. wish i had a money tree in my back garden .. i think im gonna be needing it soon
-
yeah i was wondering bout that, but they did say its fibreglass, but im quite sure the east bear kit is plastic so not too sure how it works, will confirm with c-red when they reply my email, i think that should be relatively soon, will let you guys know when i find out.. but i really hope its around 3-4k for the kit. maybe they get it cheaper than retail ... really no idea, but again, i'll confirm with you guys after i get the email from them yeah the top secret bonnet is pretty nice, havnt been able to find a relatively affordable fibreglass/plastic version though. 1k only for fitting and spraying? wow thats pretty damn good, i was quoted 2.5k to fit/spray half a kit on by a little company in perth, i've got to look around a bit more, but i was pretty sure he was a bit expensive ...
-
yeah 3k for the whole kit, have to email to confirm, still waiting on his reply, but he said 3k over the phone hey japmuscle will the gt-r nismo struts fit my car? mine are leaking and i have to get them changed and one of my mates said he'd let me have his struts cheap since he upgraded them to teins, but he's got a gt-r. i think jsai are quite good, i've heard alot of good things about them and seen that alot of people have bought for him, but he does seem a bit unreliable to contact, but i doubt he would rip people off, its just bad business. btw what bonnet is that on the black 34? i've been looking around for something like that, cant really find much besides the east bear one, most of them make it similar to the z tune bonnet, or in carbon fibre only, hard to find a fibreglass one ..
-
whole kit including bonnet, which is a good deal considering its east bear, however he did say it was fibreglass, not plastic as powerplay in sydney said. i have to email them to confirm, waiting on a reply, but thats what he said over the phone

hey good news! c-red is bringing in a few more r34 east bear kits, i just called them cost about 3k for the whole set.

yeah i thought the bonnet vents on the ebay kit looked a bit dodgy, but i was hoping it'd be the angle or something .. wishful thinking yeah east bears so far the only company i can find with it, i think i've seen it on a few sites but their always in carbon fibre and not sold there in fibreglass/FRP .. will the east bear bonnet fit onto a normal gt-t front bumper with a mole? im thinking about the z tune gt-t bumper from JSAI with the mole in this pic, i think its n1 mole. this kit usually uses a gt-t bonnet, so not too sure if east bear would work, but vivagarage sells a nice hood with the vent the way i like it but for a gt-t, so that should work out well. http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/6272/rimg0036xv7.jpg or hopefully i can find the REAL west yokohama kit, not too sure if i'd have to use a gt-t or gt-r hood for this one though. have to look into it a bit more. going to go check out which other companies make that hood .. cheers
-
they still have it? that post i linked was like .. last year, but they prob should be able to get it in still.
-
haha yeah but apparently you modify it a bit, its on this thread here... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...85#entry4630285 you remove the weird little bars in the grill area, and i think in the nicer one posted on the ebay site a mole was fitted too ... *edit* was mainly worried that you'd seen the kit before and it wasnt very good quality or something .. i think its the west yokohama kit? never heard of them before.. any idea on where to get that hood before btw?
-
i think under the skylines australia wa for sale autoworx has a thread on r34 bodykits, dont know if they still sell it any more though, but i did see it on there, heres the link http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ff-t221114.html that what ur after? 250 bucks ... heres a link to the optional factory aero kit i think? not too sure what its called but its nismo or something . http://www.vivagarage.com.au/nissan/nissan..._aeroparts.html same look down the bottom but even nicer than factory front bumper imo 280 bucks, not much difference about the same price, autoworx is pretty far from melb unfortunately, its where i am in WA, not too sure where you can get it from in melbs. viva is in SA. doesnt really look that low on the pic, but ive never seen a kit like that in person, but the nismo kit doesnt sit very low (i test drove a 34 with one of these kits xD) hope that helps

-
yeap thats the one
-
anybody know where to get a gt-r hood that looks like the one in the latest fast furious? i cant find them anywhere, its pretty much the same as the z-tune one but without those extra vents inside of it... east bear makes a nice one, but i don't know if that would fit other gt-r bumpers/fenders, and it'd prob be extra pricey since its plastic too ...
-
oh that looks pretty damn nice after the mods mate! cheers for the link
-
anybody know where to get that west yokohama kit from? googled it, cant find anything
-
the gt-r conversion costs alot mate, im almost about to back down n just put a nice gt-t kit on :| if you change the fenders you have the change pretty much the whole car i think.. which will cost alot of money why a custom front bumper? my favourite part of the gt-r is the special front bumper, which involves changing the hood now at the risk of sounding completely retarded, in what way do you mean your rims stick out? i think r34s are only allowed to have 18 inch rims anyway... sorry if thats really dumb ..
-
if they were just wider gt-t fenders i dont think anything would need to change since they were made for the gt-t.. if u meant gtr fenders though then yeah you'd probably have to change fenders, skirts, and rear bumper, and yeah you'd need a custom made bumper that fits the gtr fenders n stuff, what r u planning to do with ur car? btw i think some places do make custom body kits but those would cost aloot im quite sure fibreglass kits arent BAD though right? most kits use it ... still hoping for a east bear kit though, no luck on a second hand one, gonna keep trying to get in touch with jsai to ask him bout the full conversion, which really could be cheaper than the east bear .. its all so confusing ..
