i really like the focus and the fiesta actually really keen to go try the new focus titanium out for interest i think they all look really good too ive driven a few lancers and corollas at work and really liked them this probably isnt the most important thing to you .. but ive found some of the cheaper holdens/fords have annoyingly difficult carpets to vacuum probably irrelevant - but if you really like to detail your car .. its a factor to consider LOL the jap ones have pretty decent carpets for most of their range imo btw have you considered volvo c30? im not too sure about the general opinion of em, but nobody ever seems to mention em .. just thought id chuck it out there -
Hey everyone, Selling a set of used S-Tune coilovers, they came off a friends 34 GT-R, he gave them to me to see if they'd fit on my GT (it doesnt fit) and he just wants them gone since he upgraded to Teins They weren't used very much at all but i'm unsure of exactly how many kms they have run Their in good condition still Also selling the cannon muffler from my 34. I changed to an oval one to try and quietenthings down a bit its in decent shape, came off a 2.5" exhaust system and the cannon itself is roughly 4" Looking forabout $750 for the coilovers and $50 for the muffler Feel free to make an offer PM me or send us a text on0435540119 They weren't used very much at all but i'm unsure of exactly how many kms they have run Their in good condition still Willing to freight at buyers expense http://www.nengun.com/nismo/s-tune-suspension-kit thats the link to the coilovers on nengun for more information

P-Plater Not Being Allowed To Drive At Night?
Jonno34 replied to SKITTLES's topic in General Automotive Discussion
^ i agree, but i just think that some of the laws are a bit badly thought through such as being able to do certain things on ur Ls but not on your Ps i actually dont really disagree with not being able to drive after midnight, thats fine but i think that if you were allowed to on your L plates with supervision, you should be allowed on your red Ps if you were to have an adult with you. even if you just had to swap back to using L plates or something? and same with the turbo skyline law being able to drive one on your L's but not your Ps im not really against any of the laws though, dont really bother me too much. -
yess jiff is horrible horrible stuff on wheels zymol has good stuff i use FI Power Wheel Cleaner, its pretty good imo got rid of like a year of euro brake dust on my dads volvo XC90 in one go lol are you in perth by any chance? i can help you out with that if you need or if you are in melb/sydney there is a FI boutique there you can pick it up from i also find autosol to be veerry effective after using wheel cleaners, just that its so ridiculously time consuming ..

i imagined one of those cheesy american ads on their tvs all the time .. so i found it slightly amusing

P-Plater Not Being Allowed To Drive At Night?
Jonno34 replied to SKITTLES's topic in General Automotive Discussion
its weird because on ur L plates you're allowed to drive after midnight with supervision but on your P plates you arent, even with supervision .. makes no sense imo -
the only long lasting tyre shine ive ever used was the meguiars gel one that you have to rub on - which is just time consuming .. all the cans one last ****all for me .. but i have to keep trying new ones in the meantime i just use the aussie export stuff lol $10 for 4 cans! I may give what dan said a try
-
yeah just use a clay bar and hand polish mate, if i have any dodgy stains or anything i just hand polish that spot and seal that area back up breaks my heart to get rid of all the layers of seal/wax that i build up over the months though P21S paint cleansing lotion is good off the shelf stuff - ive found autoglym paint renovator to be very effective, i used it on my skyline when I first got it, improve the paint condition by millions
-
wish my workplace did that we use autosmart ... breaks my heart to send a car out detailed with that stuff ... 90% of my products at home are from brands like Final inspection .. only off the shelf stuff i use nowadays is some of meguiars/mothers, or autoglym ... preferably autoglym in far less time than it takes me to do a car at work i can get a car looking much better and with alot less effort .... i started off with turtle wax "ice" products though when i first started detailing
-
it works okayish .. but it took me some serious muscle to get even the most insignificant marks out of my paint i used autoglym paint renovator once when i first got my skyline, i found that to be quite good i quite like autoglym products actually, pretty good for off the shelf stuff you're not in perth are you? I have tons of scratch X and autoglym paint renovator sitting around ... i keep buying more stuff before i get even halfway through the last bottle
-
I haven't found scratch X to be that effective .. for a hand polish i generally use FI CAP medium and ive heard good things from other guys serious about their detailing about P21S paint cleansing lotion, which is actually made for a hand polish
-
yeah ive heard JSAI made good kits, but i remember people had problems getting in contact with them at one stage?
-
nahh i know n/a skyline will be slow ... i aim for 16s since its my first ever hahah hopefully next wednesday!
-
ill go for a run soon hopefully
-
I have mixed feelings on those actually, when it first came out i hated it its starting to grow on me though i wonder what car I'd get for R35 money ...
-
I actually really like falcons but the gt-r is something special plus my 63kg self would look silly in a falcon sized car
-
for 70K .. id get a 34 gt-r .. or a porsche or this http://www.carsales....id=12F1908D48F0 *edit* yeah i'd take a 32 gt-r over an FPV .. I just like the looks of the 32
-
Apparently it was hailing and thunderstorms around the canningvale area too sorry guys
-
its hailing atm where I am ... not too sure if I wanna take the 34 out in this
-
Cheers mate, ill search around and try to learn how to do it soon! so the misfire at idle was due to the spark plug gap? i was worried it was the coilpacks and I got myself a faulty set their expensive things and id really hate to have to buy another set ...
-
this is only my 2nd cruise, but will be good to meet some SAU guys finally!
-
Andrew put coppers and changed the gap on my sparkies on my n/a 34 .. the car always makes a popping sound and shakes rather violently at idle now .. feels very weird, I called him up and he said he changed the gap so it would misfire at idle rather than higher up in the rpms, but it never did misfire higher before :S but it may be the second hand OEM coilpacks we put in to replace mine .. I have no clue, gotta take it back to andrew sometime soon
