Prank : Is your car basically stock? aside from the exhaust?? Cuz ive been told on occasion that...running a 3.5inch cat back..will sorta take away from the power...rather than add to it...in a stock car.. what other mods are you running? if any mc :burnout:

Yeah i agree dust aint ab ig problem..i still prefer to stop on a dime.. but like id like to ahve the best of both worlds... seems to me that EBC are the way to go... but no pad can be dustless...i think EBC green stuff is just less dusty hgehe :shake:

Dood, if you'be blocked the hose running out of the stock BOV that means that basically you are not using a BOV at all..which is a very very bad thing to do..hurts ya turbo a lot heeh and yeah a simple air filter wont nab you any free power... exhaust would though... mc :shake:

saiyan : thast what i asked..i believe it does.. firends of mine say they have gone over 180..and are using the type 1.. but they are running different that stock wheels.. and didnt push more than 190.. so i dunno im a bit warey of trying it out (over 180) after i get my type1 fitted.. mc :shake:

hey PRANK, you said u were installing the HKs type1, ..im gonna be doing that 2moro.. i heard that it removes the 180 speed limit... becuase u gotta hook the brown and blue wires into the ECU, which are speed and rpm.. so it loops the speedo thru the TT and removes the 180 limit.. any truth in this??? mc :shake:

Hey this is like only sorta related to the pads.. but which pads besides the greenstuff..give off the LEAST brake dust?? Ive got stock nissans at the moment..and stock nissan rims..and i never get much dust on them at all.. i love it!!! (cuz i hate dirty rims) but a mate of mine has bendix ultimates..and his rims are premanently dirty hgehe mc :shake:

Hey guys, just outta curiosity.. Wont any aftermarket filter you fit on an RB25det...sound EXTREMELY similar to any other aftermarket filter..since its the same engine thats doing the sucking?? I know that there are very subtle differences in sounds from different filters.. but most sound really similar.. true/not true? mc :shake:

But i got more Q's where those came from. umm..what type of rim/tyre combo are you running? and please!! if u can get pics up here show me!!!! pls! umm and can u list any benefits in handling since you installed the lower springs. like besides the fact that it looks good..umm what else have u gained from lowering it? .eg: can u hook a corner harder and faster now?? Ok..so you went 35mm down at the front and 25mm at the rear. How much can you lower front and rears so that you can still maintain efficient "stock shock" operation? hey NDR(neil) ... which spring package did you end up fitting permanently to your skyline? ive never spoken to whiteline so i dunno what the o/s/r..etc.etc. is... SO what is the ride like now? Did you re-size the bump stop in the shock (pressuming you are using stock shocks) my main worry is that fitting lower springs will fugg up ur ride comfort... i use to have a celica 94 and i lowered it 2 inch on king springs..but the ride suffered badly.. my car felt like it was going to fall apart... how much do whiteline charge for lowering springs of about 2-inch or 40mm?? mc :shake:

DOes anyone know of any INSURANCE APPROVED alarms on the market that support turbo timer functions? for say : under $600 2point immonbilisation. black wiring separate brain and siren? pls help mc:shake:

Hey fellas i rang brant up and they told me that none of their alarms work in tandem with ANY turbo timers.. is this true? or has the guy bullshytted me?? ive got aHKS type 1.. also ppl that i spoken to..said that using a turbo timer..u gotta see how much the engine "shudders" when the timer turns off the car...cuz the engine shudder can cuase the "armed alarm" to be triggered and go off... just a though mc :shake:
