just checked mine and the plugs been cut off, what kind of globe goes in there??

will that go straight onto a globe or will i have to get a seperate plug??

has anyone got the inner yellowy lens hooked up, mines got no wiring or anything going too it, or has anyone hooked it up, and can tell me how?? thank you please

good old halfa coke bottle does the trick, raises the water just enough to self bleed it,

was under mine today on the hoist having a look for ya and wouldnt be too hard to pull em, when you get it off, keep the boot in one peice if possible and take it to an repco or autopro and get em to match up an aftermarket boot off something else, aslong as its close you will be alrite, and will only cost you about $25 -$35 for a boot kit man, any problems man i can get mine on the hoist and take some pics for ya. let me know

only difference i found when doing mine was the water pump, there a few it could be, the first one i got looked ok but it didnt have the enlongated hole at the top where the smallest bolt of the lot go, i cant remember the part number for the one i needed, but all the belt kits are the same i believe, i got my gates kit from CBC bearings through work (mechanics workshop) which came with the blue belt and all the seals and idler and tensioner, hope i helped lol,

so could i just put dextron 3 in it then or would i be best to go with tranzmax z ??? and how much does the box and transfercase take

sorry if this has been asked before, but i would rather you guys tell me, is there another alternative to castrol tranzmax-z for the box and transfer case for my auto s1??and how much does each take??? im having trouble finding it locally at the moment and just recived the gearbox filter, gasket and o-ring from nissan($102 all up if anyones intrested) and want to get it done, or is there only tranzmax-z available?? any help/info would be awesome,

i feel sorry for topgear australia, all the 1st season got was a slaggin, give it a few seasons and it will be good, i enjoyed the 1st season as they done very well for a 1st time, topgear uk has an endless budget and there was a time where topgear uk was crap, (quentin wilson era), sorry my 2 cents. ohh and i miss the 1st one tonight - worked back gutted.

was going to say, our s1 rs4 used to do the same thing, massive shudder under hard right foot and dropped the smelly burned trans oil and filled it up, good as new. glad you fixed it man!!!

looks in the way up there, i did look at them but in my opinion the whole mount looks cheap, think i may go pillar mount or like QWK32 done. just need to find a good looking mount, and a good looking gauge 2moz. ill post pics up of mine when its done!!!

QWK32 looks sweet, mine wont be a defi gauge though lol, looks like u put the cable through the top dash vent, looks neat, how did you go about getting it through there was hard??

looked at putting it on the pillar but there are some ugly ass mounts around and dont want it to look S**t in the cabin

hi people, just a quicky, fitted a boost controller today and running a heathy 9psi, going to fit a gauge this weekend and wondering where you have mounted yours and what sort did you get ie electric - mechanical and how hard was it getting the hose/cables through to the engine bay, any help from you stagea gods would be awesome its a s1 by the way

i use a redline panel filter (looks identical to a k&n) with no oil, sweet as so far.
