heavy wall mild steel or so i am told is good! 304 stainless is crap as it cracks apparently, 321 stainless is the way to go if you want to use it! steam pipe is the best or so i'm told think its cast from memory & u can buy it in bends or something, have seen 3mm thickness & 4mm thickness & have been told not necessary to hpc it, but if it was mine i would definitely hpc extreme coat it (black stuff)!

bp or shell fuel depots should be able to supply it or even recochem! i also got it from mitre 10 here in roma one time as you can use it as a paint thinner?

gf's s14 97 auto weighs 1280kg on weighbridge! 13.75 @ willowbank with C.E.S hpc twin dump exhaust, 14psi, O2 rush pod filter! thats better than alot of r32/r33 on here with similar mods! :shake: no pineapples, slicks or excuses!

but if you red light it shouldn't matter as the timer starts when you break the beams! so if you .1 or 30sec's what does it matter?

hey are the skyline's heavier than a s14 200sx? it's just that my gf's car made a huge 126kw/170hp@tyres yet ran a 13.75! wats the story people?

hey from memory with couple of small mods eg advanced timing , boost & fuel one of the sub zero's skylines ran 13.2 or 13.4 plus it was auto when nearly std! So wats this ***** low 14 sec or high 13sec stuff all about? They didn't need pineapples or any of this other crap! just GOOD simple mods & good driving i guess!

i know of 2 people that have the hks pods on there 300's & they oil there filters with belray foam filter oil just like i oil my uni-filters & o2 rush pod without any dramas! i know this because they borrow it from me! just go to your local bike shop and buy some ! i wash my filters out with kero then truck wash (ct18) & water then let it dry, then oil it, remembering that you can NEVER squeeze out to much oil!

i have been told that shell use it in optimax anyways plus the old super use to have it in there as well! i use to use toluene a while back in my capri but found any more than 10% it didnt like it

i always use Wynnns race formula when i race my car & gf's car Hot 4's actually did a dyno feature using the different boosters and wynns was the best plus the car used was a turbo capri which just happens to be the same car as i own!

core section of the BB's are bigger than plain bearing type plus the oil inlet has a oil restrictor in it to stop too much oil entering! think there is a screw/bolt or something on the core as well for the tension of the bearing ? best to talk to a turbo supplier i guess instead of letting us in the know? tell you what we heave heard?

the fan on the z is supposed to be multi speed or something so it really doesnt cause that much of a drag on the engine apparently plus electric fan will not pull in the same amount of air either when required! plus a zed will pick up a heap of power from the filter mod compared to a sx or line! TTZ went from 14.2? to mid 13 on the street but i guess it possibly picked up some boost from the less restrictive intake maybe?

yep thats my mate who's zed run 12.56 i think it's best mph was 116.5 too i think! as a matter of interest i raced his brothers z the other night and i got him off the line by about 1/2 car but by about 80k's he just flew by and pulled about 3-4 lengths on me! his car has a 2 1/2 cat back system (cats-modified) 12psi, hks pod filter, loosened (3000) std convertor and thats it, i think the reason i got him off the line is the fact that his car wheel spins quite abit due to the 225 tyres being abit small/crappy!

auto had a shit! think it burnt out the 2nd gear clutch's? plus a couple of engine seals were leaking i think? may have changed the timing belt as well? but it went back in on sunday just has to hook up all the electrics, trans cooler lines etc back up now so should be back on the road this weekend!

actually mate's brother has the motor on a stand in his shed and the box out as well! they reckon it wasn't tha t bad to remove most people over reacte
