thanks guys for a continous feedback. i myself am i signwriter, not a tuner, so i leave that to the experts. all i'd like to do with this car, is go for a fang on a track or club day, and come home, so im not really interested in setting up an autronic, motec or high end haltech for this toy. I've left that for my VL BT1.

Hi Anth... Yes, i agree, MicroJunk, BUT - having said that, it'll work for its intended purpose, and its not street registered, so doesnt need to maintain 100% street manner.......BTW, next time i visit my office in the UAE, i should come visit. Its just a shtbox for a bit of fun, thats all.

Good Monring GTSBoy, i've been searching for a plug in type, and there seems to be more of the RB25 stuff available, if we assume we're taking about a plug in type of ECU, how do you suggest i go about it? does anything in the loom have to be changed in order for it to operate correctly?

hello All, forgive my ignorance on this topic, as i never got up to speed with auto electronics, but while searching for a used aftermarket ecu, im hearing that an aftermarket ECU from a S1 RB25 will run an RB20? is this correct? or Incorrect? Any suggestions and/or ideas, advice, would be greatly appreciated, Mike.

i've looked - came across one about 3wks ago on ebay, an LT12s plug in which was perfect, but had outlayed a massive amount of cash to service a work contract, so i had to miss out - i have a new LT16c priced up, but i dont want to spend so much, for my intended purpose. i live 5min from calder park raceway, and i like doing track days on wednesdays, when i can get away from the office. just a bit of fun.

yeah, the 'Holosheen' film, which is 'foil based' so to speak. it'll go 'yellow' within 6mths, depending on the UV and heat exposure it comes into contact with, and personally, i HATE using it, i hate working with it, becuase its very thick, not like the premium vinyls that we use. It aint that great. And another thing, DONT EVER apply it directly to paintwork, always put a black or colour underneath it, or prepare to repaint the panel(s)

Hi Mate, being a signwriter by trade, and having install graphics to 100s of vehicles throughout the years, id say, IF quality vinyls are used, and the application is done correctly, you shouldn't have any issues. upon removal, you'll need Prepsol, cloths, and some patience, and the panels will come up good as new. I recommend getting a professional installer to do the job, to ensure its done to a high standard. Any more questions, feel free to ask
