also, not sure if it helps at all, but while i was about 4 or 5 cars back from olds mark, i didnt hear or see anyone skidding, sliding, burnouts whatsoever, just good clean driving. James can attest to that im certain, but as soon as he pulled over, for reasons unknown, that is when things went wrong. I was quite annoyed when police surrounded our gathering, and stared really having a look at cars, but now when i think back, and actually seriously think about some drivers actions, it does make sense why they came down and had a good look/defect. Again, the minority wreck it for the majority.

But Old Mark cant be everywhere at once, although we tried to keep the guy there..he did start getting quite pedantic "wheres the organiser of this cruise?" "can you guess why we are here?" Kinda makes you second guess wether you come out to these cruises anymore. After doing nothing wrong, you still get a giant target painted to your car.

I believe "driving on the road" was likely to be another reason the residents would have given. Got a warning to check my rears about 10 mins outside of the final meet spot. Its a charity cruise, and they start defecting. Oh there will be a letter in the paper about this one!

spotted a red 32 going up to windy point at about 10.25pm, a white 33 going past me while i was on the side of montacute road at about 10.40pm, then a silver 33 with a blue sticker on rear window and a cfs top on at blackwood BP at about 12.20am.
