Hi guys and girls, thankyou for looking at my post. I'm selling my baby 1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T. Approx 125,000 klm's Silver in colour. 5 speed manual. 12 months rego. It runs amazingly. I have loved this car for about 3 years, always garaged and never parked in a car park. This skyline has just had a major service including all belts and fluids changed along with all new brakes. Never have I raced this car, I have admired it - definately a head turner. Runs well on short or long distances. Nothing wrong on the inside or the out side- The only thing is some very minor cracks and paint chips in front fiberglass bar. Had a quote of $350 to respray the fron bar, does NOT need replacing (unless you want a different style of front bar??) I purchased this car from the first Australian Owner and have had nothing but compliments on how good of a car it is. My dad is a mechanic and has serviced it however I took it to the sports car specialist to have it all serviced and belt changes etc in MAY 2011. I have just put 12 months rego on it - expires August 2012. 4 Brand new tyres approx 6 months ago - plenty of tread. I rarely drive this car so very little wear and tear. I had a specialist fit the sound system in Wollongong. Clarion DVD player / touch screen CD player in the front. I can't remember the name of the speakers in the front but they cost around $400 and there are Polk's in the rear and 12" Clarion Sub in the boot. Hey everyone. I have just moved from Kiama on the south coast up to Newie. So suprised to see that other skylines actually wave to you. Feel so loved lol I followed a black 33 GTS thru town the other night, can't remember too many details and a silver 33 GTS waved like crazy at me near Raymond Terrace?? Saw a nice 32 GTR at the lights on the highway near Raymond Terrace (?) we were both at the front of a red light. Aaaaaaand i've been pulled over a fair bit by the po po. Is this normal up here? I don't get a 2nd look in Syd... Oh and if u see me keep waving lol MYR-33E - Silver GTS-T

Turns out mine was Air flow meter - only cost $130 second hand from wreckers.

I'm going thru the same problem as we speak. A few mates have told me it could be a range of different things including air flow meter, fuel pump, coil packs, spark plugs, dirty throttle body blah blah blah. I have an R33 RB25DET - very low k's so i don't think its the coil packs, i changed oil, fuel filters etc, i've taken it to a few mechanics and coincidently it runs fine and there are no errors that come up. Today i changed the spark plugs and it made a huge diffrence, now i can actually drive it up the road before it cuts out and starts coughing and spluttering. The spark plugs were black and smelt like fuel so its running really rich. I'm gonna get a new airflow meter bolted on next week to see if that's the problem - i'll keep ya posted. If anyone else can help that'd be great. Even just some direction on what to replace next or even some suggestions on who i can take it to to get fixed around the Wollongong area. I'll take it to Syd if i have too. Good luck Casey

Hey peeps, Just putting my feeler's out lol I have an R33 GTS-T that I purchased early this year but am still on my P's I'm from Kiama and unfortunately Jamberoo is as far as i get to early on a saturday morning to charge the battery. So until then i'm seen in a little shiny lancer buzz box haha look forward to a cruise in october when i get my blacks.....
