My bad, probably should have explained that! My car came with an OEM spoiler which works fine right now, im just trying to get both the spoiler AND 3rd brake light on when i tape the brake, rather than it being just the spoiler? thanks for the reply =)

Hey Guys, Pulled apart my boot stuff today in an effort to connect my 3rd brake light. After taking out the 3rd brake light, it (obviously) wasn't connected. What confuses me though, is i couldn't see anywhere where the 2 PIN connector should go? Does anyone know if i can get both the spoiler AND the 3rd brake light going? I dun see why there isn't a connector for it? Can anyone who doesn't have a spoiler take a photo and check. The 3rd brake light just slides back and out? I'd really appreciate it! Big ups!

Hi Guys, The installation of my CarPuter has begun. I have begun mounting the monitor in the cubby. After popping the hood, i found two grommets which i "think" go through the firewall. One in front of the drivers seat, top left (if your in front of the hood) - which looks a little tricky. The other, right hand side, top corner which looks like it would feed somewhere around the glove box? Does anyone know what the easiest way to get a positive wire inside is? - Does the right grommet pop off? I'd prefer not to drill.... Appreciate the help =) Speak soon!

So, does pushing that button actually lock both doors? There is definitely and audible noise coming from driver side. I'd get someone to sit outside my car and try, but my car is kinda stripped at the mo for carputer install.

I've got a manual, i would probably say a cruise control would be a viable alternative, if you get a descent one. Keep it in second, use the cruise control to raise and lower the speed - not perfect - but better than a whole conversion.

Can anyone confirm for me, when you push the "door lock" button - do both switches on both doors "close"??? When i push the button on my drivers side, the passenger switch closes, but the drivers sounds like it locks but the switch stays. I don't have any problems with the lock, just the switch doesn't move. Thoughts?

You can call Nissan, anywhere in Sydney and tell them your model car etc. They'll be able to contact Nissan Japan and get an ECU OEM Price for you - won't be cheap though. It may be in your best interests to look for a better aftermarket one - maybe a HKS if they offer, or re-tune your current. Can the tuner not reprogram the current tuning???

I unlike the rest of the forum members wouldn't recommend Nagoya Motors, i went to inspect a white 2dr coupe with 17K(ish) - the timing belt was squeeking, the car stalled twice during the test drive with the clutch FULLY down. It also claimed to have a grade 4 auction exterior, the rear bumper was a different paint and there was clear rubber wear for a car with that level.. My opinion of course....... I will agree Alex was a nice guy.... but not sure i believe the odo reading...

Thats actually REALLY cheap for what it is $31K for a Premium with 22K on the clock Let's just say, i paid alot more, for a lot less ;-)

That sucks, i had a similar problem with mine when it arrived, it had rock marks stuck in the chip guard... i still have yet to do anything about it.. If you're in sydney and end up getting the touch up, let me know where?

Welcome to the club, if you decide to join ;-) It's a pain in the ass to get a manual, i waited a good 2-3 months to find a premium in manual. If you look HARD (i.e. interstate) you may find yourself luck. In some cases its cheaper to buy it and drive it cross state. Chris Rogers is best to ask about the DVD/SatNav stuff - but it probably cost you upwards of $500 with ease i'd say. A car is as reliable as how much you service it, in saying that, if its been thrashed in Japan before it was shipped... things are going to break. Good luck in your search!

Looks good superspit, i opted for 15% black all round and it turns out just fine - didn't affect the reception at all In saying that, im probably going for a silver/neutral tint as soon as i can find someone who can do it. Anyone in Sydney?
