  1. Hi mate, Good work, sounds like you've done your fair bit of wiring in the past. As for the OBDII side of things, sadly, the V35 is not JUST OBDII, Nissan have also added some variations to the standard which in turn mean that device isn't always compliant with every OBDII device. (As i found out when i purchased a EBD device) Of the 3-4 cables i've tried the BlaZt is the only i've found to work. Thats not to say the one you have linked won't work, just that i've had no experience and would be hesitant to try it unless you've had some positive feedback from someone. There is a whole article (search ref OBDII) somewhere on here about which protocols the device needs to support and so on. Even my HUD as a few minor confusions. Cheers, T
  2. Nice buy! Welcome aboard!
  3. Good work!! What did you use to brace the screen up? Also, how do you power the PC up? Do you have to go to the boot and push the power each time? As for the OBDII - get the BlaZt.biz cable, it'll give you everything you need as far as cables are concerned If you're after something more advanced, i sell an OBDII HUD with TPMS Speed/Rev/Battery Volt/Engine Temp and so on. Cheers.
  4. ********** notorious for this. Even mine, found out it was adjusted around 20-30K - timing belt had been changed, but was not due to be changed until 50K In saying that, if you're buying a Jap import, chances are its been wound back. Sad, but true.
  5. I get it, all the time. Then again, i have my windows down, music blarring, and hoodie on. So perhaps its HOW you drive that promotes it ;-P For example, windows up, and going the speed limit, probably isn't going to get you much attention.
  6. I have a 350GT Coupe, mine is the same, although i can control both sides, until the car is locked. Not sure why you can't control all? *shrug*
  7. Luckily for me, the company i work for has a factory - metal and such Its a thin, polished bit of steel, which i bent on a table, and then shoved in the "brace/slide slot" at the back of the screen. Its a bit hard to describe, if you're at the next meet though, im happy to show you. It all depends on the monitor that you decide to fill your cubby with, or if you go with double din, it vastly changes the setup.
  8. @dodes47 Metal bracket in a sort of L shape. It doesn't slide back in, as the casing wasn't deep enough to have it slide, so instead, i've made it removable. In that, i can take the whole screen out, put in my bag, close the lid and it just looks like a cubby from the outside. Cheers
  9. +1 for stickers off - stock as possible
  10. @ Chris I'd like a photo too for a non-navi edition? Are you suggesting you can supply the popup section of the navi edition minus the screen etc., i.e. just the fascia? @ dodes47 This was my original post...let me know if you need a hand http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...ml&hl=carpc Video of my OBDII setup, this doesn't show you the GPS/Video/Movie setup but you get the gist - http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=oqaj5f&s=3

  20. Yes, there are separate switches for this. (on my car....) to the left is the "auto-fold" switch, this is as described above. under my right leg, under the wheel is a small push button switch which toggles the auto-tilt.
  21. Thats actually a really good price!! Shame its auto
  22. There is a toggle switch under my dash for this, premium edition, not sure if its standard. They only fold when i lock it though.
