  1. They do look good, I might have to pop around and borrow them when danny fits 'em lol I'll provide a couple of bricks whilst I borrow them Get over it you wankah seriously, just drive your bland silver stagea
  2. I reset a couple of days ago as I've been doing a lot of f3 driving and wanted to see how driving on the f3 was using mostly automatic mode, just slipping into manual shift for overtaking etc. I'm hoping to be more like 10+km/L once the ECU is remapped.
  3. Wow! that's the first time I've seen one of those Works out about $800 landed, and then you hope it's good gear Being a Nismo remap you have to wonder if they remapped based on a standard car or did they remap based on the Nismo M35 You buy it though Iain let us know how good it is. I got the stock ECU for $440 ex Brisbane.
  4. It is NOT one map suits most, ALL vehicles will be dyno tuned when they are being mapped. And if you do further mods you take the vehicle back in and at a reduced rate it is retuned and dyno tested. I'm still confirming details but I hope to have mine in testing and development within 1 month.
  5. ------------------- UPDATE: further to this it looks like I may have secured an ECU!! I've just done a bank transfer and sent confirmation off to Ken & Geoff from Prestige Motorsport. So all going to plan I will have the ECU in a week or so and I can then start testing and development at Silverwater Auto Service (SAS).!! Can't wait.
  6. Just filled my tank for the first time, I never fill it but now I'm commuting 67.22L of 98 Vortex and the screen is telling me 545km @ 8.1KM/L. Now I just have to control my right foot
  7. If you have been using shell is there anything you should put through the engine to remove the build up? I think Nissan put some injector cleaner in for me when it was serviced but is there anything else that can clean the gunk out that dodgy fuel companies insert in to their overpriced dodgy fuel?
  8. But you did quiet a good job I've read all your posts so far
  9. That's what we are here for, hopefully it was of some assistance Welcome aboard.
  10. It's my long lost twin!!!!! I'm the black sheep of the family, I've got the 250t RS Give me the option between the 3L and the 2.5L turbo and I'll take the turbo everytime, can't wait to high-flow!!
  11. Looks good though You'll have to let us know what type of gain you achieve out of this modification. I was talking to someone the other week, I can't remember who it was (I've been making heaps of calls to get everything together for the high-flow turbo install etc) and they were saying that a high performance FMIC makes a substantial difference over the stock one.
  12. I've had another nibble, I'm not holding my breath but hopefully he will come back to me with some good prices after he has had a check around! ---- Hello Stephen, Pls let me know by reply if you still need the ECU you requested to prestige Motorsport. I am in Japan now + can let you know price and availability early next week. Thank You Ken
  13. You may find the whistling is normal, best to find someone else with an M35 in NZ and let them hear it, it may just well be the normal noise that the turbo makes while operating. Best options if you have a look at the turbo thread we started not long ago (it's got some good information in there) is to high-flow the existing Garrett that is on the car. The turbo is located in such a tight hot space under the bottom of the engine that not much else will fit or function there. Jetwreck has just high-flowed his in the last few months and from memory he is now over the 100 000k mark. Just depends if the car has been looked after and you think you are going to get a few years more use out of it a high-flow would be ideal
  14. Dave, you are one twisted individual arn't you? First you tell me your car has plenty of punch and you wouldn't want to high-flow your turbo now you go and do this!!! LOL But I wouldn't mind an Elgrand with Nismo kit but I definatly would not sell the Stagea for it. Mind you both of them would look good in my driveway and would give us a comfy spot to sit when we have our Thursday night meeting at Erina
  15. bah my povo pack RS didn't come with that. Iain, does yours do this?
  16. Just adding some useless information When Jet & I were in Charlestone Exhaust fitting his dump pipe, Bruce needed some help with testing the dB of a overdone Ford that was there LOL Jet held the sound thingie and it registered a 120db if memory serves me right LOL It was noisy, and smelly
  17. LOL maybe, I just wanted to add 2 cents worth and get some change It's just going to go fast ok and probably use the same amount of fuel it uses now :|
  18. Settle petal LOL, i'm the one who has started a new job this week, my brain is fizzled!!
  19. NO, the goons have a VQ25DD M35 LOL No wonder they can't sell any parts of the f*cker
  20. I'll be going with an SAS ECU Remap, hopefully aiming for around 250 - 300 awkw. Then again maybe I should be aiming for fuel efficiency
  21. Try http://www.nisswreck.com.au (in SA - should have a green s1 currently being dismantled) or maybe All Automotive Import Parts (AAIP) 10 Benronald St Seventeen Mile Rocks QLD 4073 Phone: (07) 3715 6521 Other Phone: (07) 3865 5028 Fax: (07) 3865 1337 I spoke to them about M35 parts and they pointed out they had a few WC34's in stock, don't know if S1 or S2 but might be worth a shot. If you happen to find a wrecker's with an M35 ECU let me know
  22. lol she keeps rattling on about my airbag warning now She will also tell you when your fuel runs low! Now, all we have to do is learn Japanese
  23. Well why didn't you just tell us it was that one when we were all asking for pics? I've checked the pics out previously, it looks like a nice Stagea and I just love the colour!! You will have to do the cruise one Thursday night so we can all check it out You'll be like a kid on xmas day when it arrives!
