I'm still convinced that is my old pride and joy, I have even tried to ring Con and surprise he didn't answer lol I probably would have ended up being abusive lol It was like I had seen a ghost, how else would i react?

The factory turbo is a ball bearing, somepeople (iamhe) have gone bush bearing and had great success. Other's have gone for a high-flow with ball bearing (i.e. gcg) and they have also had great success, personally I would be going for ball bearing. As for the ECU, good luck hacking it. SAS were meant to be getting a computer because nothing they had could read the ECU, as far as I'm aware that box is still stuck in korea or something. So I don't like your chances, the M35 ECU is one unique little bugger.

Anyone Been Into Northshore Lately?
Bis-e Bee replied to bigkevracer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I was there last Saturday morning, this was a nice car and I had a good look. Only thing that didn't work for me was the aftermarket cd player (it's a kenwood I think), I wasn't keen on anything other than factory as I have a TV decoder that hasn't been used which I want to connect to the system so I can watch tv. All in all it's a very neat car and I believe you would be very happy with your purchase -
Spotted kng35 this morning on my way to work, he came up alongside me in merrylands. I was in my pimped out maxima, was going to show him some raw power, but didn't want to show him up lol Was going to pull up alongside to say hello but he turned into a block of apartments where he was honking up an old fella who was in the way.

Parramatta Rd, Burwood has a few other M35's other than the dodgy Nismo job. All People Mover (APM), Burwood Imports or something similiar to that and I think Edward lee's has a few AR-X's. All people Mover have a nice silver one but the leather interior turned me off as I want the cloth sports seats. Good luck dude!

Nice car, good luck with the sale. I looked at it but the aftermarket CD player and the leather interior are not on my list of requirements Mine is exactly as per pic from Duncan, it's labelled as a Nissan Sports Muffler and has Calsonic stamped on the underneath of it. I believe it is a Nismo option but was not labelled as such.

I looked at buying that one too, but it didn't tick all my boxes and I'm not going to bring one from another state and put up with the added stuff around unless it is spot on what I want. Looks ok tho, good luck

Typed a lengtly reply and internet played up and it didn't save. Km's are fudged, I'm pretty sure of this, car is not as neat as you would expect for a 2003 with only 42,000 km's on the clock. Even the interior was quiet rough but I only had a brief look inside and didn't inspect anything too closely. The front & back parts of the nismo kit are pretty messy, major damage to the back of the kit near the left side of the muffler. The idiots damaged the front part when they put it up on the display stands it was on, they were going to have this damage fixed tho so it may not be noticeable now. The main damage I spotted was to the left and right side where the kit meets the body near the front wheels. All in all it looks great from a distance, just don't get too close to it. If you are going to buy I would definatly haggle on the price and see what they will knock off it, it's going to need some work if you want it to look real good. Oh and the muffler is not Nismo, it's some other cat back brand from Japan. Suspension is lowered, I didn't have a close look but could be Nismo S-Tune or a similiar product. The guy I spoke to (Alex I think) knew absolutely nothing about Stagea's which is always helpful

Whats It Worth R33 Gtr Vspec With 366Kw?
Bis-e Bee replied to mickyyyy's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Did you enter the VIN correctly into FAST? I'm not seeing the Vin #, Manufacturer Date, Colour Code, Interior Code etc. It appears to be a generic information for a particular model, not a specific one off vehicle. -
Thanks Psymon, much appreciated. Could I also trouble you to do an options screen shot? This one was supposedly factory fitted with "some" Nismo options, just wondering if that is genuine. It's currently got Nismo wheels, bodykit (including rear wing), Momo steering wheel, I assume suspension too but havn't had that closer look yet. Thanks again!

Someone please FAST this one for me, I am running 64bit windows and cannot get it installed NM35318296

Wreck has now been sold. Time to start seriously looking for another one * please close thread *
-
It's a third party claim through AAMI as i was not insured, good result all up tho. I've just had a very nice offer for the wreck which I'm waiting to finalise, I am going to come close to getting all of my money back and will have something to work with to get another one when I'm ready. Put a deposit on a 1996 Nissan Maxima A32 30G last weekend, pick it up this weekend, atleast I will have something to get around in on my xmas break. i'm keep my eyes on what is around but not in a mega rush, wait until something just right comes along. I will have to bring the Maxima to a cruise one Thursday night soon
-
I am open to offers, if I can make a bit extra out of it for my next m35 and help someone out with parts it is all a win win situation. Offer is only open for a few days and then I will just let pickles take it for the measely $820 lol
-
No parting, I want the car gone. If someone was to buy it and the facility and tools to part it, they could make a mint!
-
Finally after a bit of mucking around and waiting, it is a write off. The offer from pickles is a joke for the wreck, even the assessor told me to see what I can yet privately. Anyone interested? Has nismo s-tune suspension and sound control exhaust.

Bis-e Bee replied to buz138's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Definatly interested, not sure I can do 4.5k but I would have to make that decision after seeing the vehicle and waiting on 3rd party insurance claim on my trashed stagea I'm waiting on a tax cheque which is $4k so maybe we can talk once that comes in. I'm currently in the Blacktown district but if I can get out that way soon I will give you a buzz. Cheers -

would appear to me he was trying to be helpful. No need to speak down to him. Sheesh. -
Car has now sadly been towed away, if anyone wants anything off it, it has gone to pick 'n payless Blacktown. *thread closed*
-
This could be the last addition to the thread, the poor girl will probably go to the wrecker's this weekend or next weekend. So if anyone is interested in having a look at the car, please sms as soon as possible, or send a PM on here.

Buying An M35 - Need Help!
Bis-e Bee replied to salamandersushi's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Ensure the turbo its not making any weird noises. These turbo's make a loud induction noise, but anything outside that is a concern. They were replaced in Japan at 100,000 km service. The ceramic doesn't hold out for long. That said mine made it to about 103,000 before it was written off due to someone else's actions, but the turbo was worked hard for 50,000km's and I had no issues. I will be back in the market in a couple of months when I can come to bare trying to trust others on the road lol -
Lol, no, I had the dreaded RAM issue with my drivers seat. However, that said the way the accident happened was fairly gentle, had they gone off they would have only made thing worse... possible broken nose, broken glasses. The biggest impact was the side one, I seen him out the corner of my eye just b4 impact, I then swore and gripped the wheel tight. So even the passenger side impact didn't catch me by surprise. Once I hit the fence it slowed me up gradually, not like hitting a brickwall or anything. Sh1t factors aside, I was quiet fortunate.
-
Forgot to mention it has an RB30, which all of you probably knew anyway. It also has some hail damage, major dents which should be a lot easier to get out as apposed to the mess little hail leaves behind. Remember that huge hail storm that hit Blacktown 2 or so years ago.. it was like the holocaust. I would have taken more pictures this weekend but unfortunately I was busy taking pictures of my written off M35 Stagea instead. Cheers
-
Ok, time for some pics. I have some more from underneath from a different camera but I havn't downloaded them yet so I'll do them another day. First off, the damage left from the initial collision with the other vehicle as it decided it wanted to be in my lane After this impact, which you can tell was very front heavy, the stagea was forced onto the median strip and through the fence. Thankfully I kept the car on the median strip and didn't end up on the other side of the road. The end result after the second part of the ordeal. And one of the fence posts I discovered was wedged underneath.
