Bah, my next change will be to 19" Osaka Mannus with Falken tread
-
Maybe I'm just having a whinge, but the area where the wheels nuts go into the stock 17" stagea rims are marked twice as bad as they were before it was serviced. Argh, is it just bad tradesmanship or don't they have the right tools to get the nuts in and out without marking the metal? Ok, that's my gripe for the day! *phew*

Iain will be selling himself as usual, so just watch what you ask for

Whats Mr Rudd Paying For On Your Car?
Bis-e Bee replied to msports180's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I know it's old news but I just officially spent my stimulus package. Mine has gone to Hornsby Nissan how unexciting! But anyway, new front pads and machined discs and a variety of other bits and pieces. I spose the next thread should be what are you going to spend your tax return on, hopefully I will find something more exciting like a remap of the M35 ECU or a set of 19" Osaka Mannus wheels. -
Dang, didn't we invite the guy with the gas stove in the back of his stag?
-
It's more the sound of the reving engine Mine still pulls to redline but it's does weaken off towards the end. I'm dreaming of a high-flow and a remap
-
As per your instruction I reset mine too, but the same thing happened and it started flashing again a few weeks later. They are struggling with the Japanese too, but seem to think it could be a loose contact or something to do with the wiring. They are going to check all the Airbag wiring and circuits etc. and hopefully find the source of the error. Once it's cleared they will do another consult and see how everything is going, fingers crossed it doesn't take them all day to locate the issue :| Will update once I find out what the GO is.
-
I like to hit redline in first, it's just fun
-
When I go around to pick the car up later this afternoon I will see what information they are willing to give me. You want to know because your mates car is still doing it?

60,000 KM Service! The car is in at Hornsby Nissan (I'm wasting away the day at Hornsby Westfields lol) So far I'm up for, * New Front Disc Pads * Machined Front Discs * Air Conditioning Belts (2 different ones as the old one is cracked and worn and could give out shortly) * Tyre Rotation & Balance * Consult (Airbag error, they are trying to track it down, something to do with an open circuit) * Fitting of Air Duct & Centre Cover I'm going to have to sell my left testicle to pay for this one Hope they don't find anything else *fingers crossed* Should be running good for Sunday arvo tho!

Just spoke with Hornsby Nissan for you, Part #H0564-C9924 should be the correct code. From memory he said they are NOT transponder, only lock and unlock. Will set you back $212.00 (Ex GST) and then you will need to get Nissan to program the thing for you unless you can do it yourself. The cost for getting it programmed probably won't be cheap, but there you have it

OK, mystery solved! The original (OE) cover on my car was only plastic (Part #75881-AQ000), it has now been superseeded with a cover that has a metal front affixed to it, I gather it secures into the holes with the back of the engine cover instead of after it. By the looks of it these suckers should take a bit more of a beating than the old styled ones, with the metal scratch plate and all it should handle a few bottom outs lol Thanks to Cam, for his help and providing the original code for it (sorry for the confusion man)
-
Cam, I'm sorry!!! I still love you, man It would appear after a discussion with Hornsby Nissan that the part superseeded the one on my car (75881-AQ000) the GOOD thing is this new one has a metal section affixed to the front and it must attach to the back of the engine cover as apposed to after it. I knew it looked similiar but once I seen the metal bit I was like WTF I gather this one should last a bit longer than the old one, it would want to with the metal guard on it. So that solves that mystery!

Maybe we can take the tools to the meet on Sunday and borrow someones lol Would have to be the person last to leave, that would make it Jetwreck Hope his ECU is the same

Hello, Stephen Wanless san. How are you today? Thank you for inquiry. We deal in JDM parts, but it is out of stock of the used ECU although we were looking for it... We are sorry that it is unable to give a positive answer... If we can do anything for you or you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. We are looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely yours, J's Garage Export Co., Ltd. Yoshitaka Ikeda [email protected] ---- Argh!! We've got to have some luck with this eventually!
-
It's 4.5GB, so no transfer man Yes, my Stagea key has the lock and unlock buttons on it, I don't think mine has transponder security but I could be wrong. Fortunately I've got a spare key in mint condition and the main key is in great condition so no replacement key's produced yet. If you give me a your postcode and are willing to pay postage/packaging I'm happy to send you a 2009 JDM copy of FAST. I don't know if that will solve your query though, I'm surprised no-one has been able to answer your question.

Just an update, the Lid Weatherstrip's are on backorder but should be arriving Australia at the end of June. I think they had to manufacture more, so if you require one might be a good idea to get an order in as I don't know how many they make at a time. The Centre Cover, DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM. This is not the correct item by the looks of it, Hornsby Nissan are going to check it out today for me. My existing one (damaged badly) is only plastic but the one I looked at this morning at Spare Parts has metal affixed to it, whether or not Nissan improved on it due to the amount that were being ripped off the undercariages I don't know! Will confirm when I pick the car up from Service this afternoon. Will update thread when I confirm that the go is. Power Duct looks alright, hahaha I'm already laffing at it Jetwreck, lucky I put some lube in my glovebox because Nissan really did bend me over

75881-AQ060 Centre Cover (Front Axle Plastic Guard) $84.00 + GST = $92.40 I've just viewed the item and I don't believe it's the actual item I was after, Cam if it turns out to be wrong can I send it to you? If anyone has the 2001 version of Parts Master working can you please reply and advise where this cover goes and what model(s) of M35's it fits? The item I was after was the plastic cover that goes over the front axle (just after the big plastic engine cover). This one is plastic but also has metal fastened to it?! And looks slightly different in shape. Hornsby Nissan are going to check it out when the car is on the hoist but I'm not holding my breath, I fear it is not the correct part I needed to replace. The details for this product on the invoice are: Part # 75881-AQ060 Description COVER-CTR RR I'm in Hornsby but will pop to the Kiosk later on as I'm passing the time whilst my car is being serviced. Someone please let me know where this goes!!!
-
Good luck man, hope it works out! Feel sorry for you, especially after all the Dynamat work you've been doing for the monster sound system install!
-
No idea on the part number, not so sure the key would be in FAST? Anyway, I have 2009 JDM if you are interested. Where you from?
-
What *ahem* incident might that be? Please tell me you didn't have a bingle?! And I'm not talking a Lara either, we'd all like one of those!!

M35 Dump Pipe - Making Up A Few
Bis-e Bee replied to Angus Smart's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Interested to know what kind of price these are going to be. Especially given the amount of interest so far -
Hahahah yeah Jetwreck said I will laugh at the Powerduct everytime I open the bonnet. lol Yeah, my cover broke If you remember you are the one who provided me the part # Seems as though the other part I ordered, the weather seal for the back sunroof may be on backorder Will find out when the car goes in for a service tomorrow.

Should be ok Alex, Sunday arvo's are not hectic on Abbott Road and there's is always space against the curb opposite BP/Macca's. Most of us will come along Abbott Road and if we turn up Chopin we would have to U-Turn to get back down to Abbott, too much work man

If only we could track down a spare ECU, testing and development may have a chance to begin I would rather a spare one be fried in testing than one of ours
