  1. Negative, they can't help
  2. Thanks man, your assistance is appreciated. Not yet, I've just looked them up, going to give them a buzz in a few minutes. Thanks again Teren
  3. was he hot? j/k I don't mind the blue one's, was it dark blue or the pale blue? And congrats on spotting another m35 that isn't mine!
  4. You know you want to, you can do it!!
  5. Iain, Are you making some form of gesture with the lol stephen just after the mention of the colour pink? I can't work out why you have mentioned me there?
  6. I will have to look it up on fast then and find the part #. I think they will be pretty expensive if ordered through Nissan, best get that lube ready again when I ring for the price Oh on the note of the bending over, I ordered my power duct the other day, hoping to get it fitted in a week when the car gets serviced.
  7. No good, I just rang and they only have parts which unfortunately in this case does not include the ECU. Nice try though!
  8. If it's the RapidShare download it's 4.5 gb of painstakingly slow download! If you put your name down for the Sydney meetup I will have a wagon full of copies
  9. FAST for the above car, please note this laptop has f**k all fonts, couldn't get the japanese character to display correctly. So correct me if I'm wrong, this one doesn't have TV/Sat Nav??
  10. Not bad, aftermarket pedals and a tubo timer?! Also I notice it's a 2001 but has a different TV screen to the normal, was this a factory option or an aftermarket job? --- Just rang Ben and the pedals are only clip on's, he doesn't know too much about the turbo timer but said the car is very much standard which makes it a good project toy
  11. I am trying to get hold of an M35 ECU (VQ25DET) for a test remap to be done on it. If anyone know's of a wrecker's anywhere in Australia that has an M35 on it's inventory please let me know.
  12. Got a reply from Tom, it's still sounding good to me. I'd rather spend the $1200 - $1400 and have the remap done as apposed to going for the piggy back system. Let's track down a ECU for a guinea pig -- Stephen, Being N/A and already highly strung the v35's still pick-up about 15kw at the wheels and we can get rid of the factory tune's pinging problems. 350 series are $1200 to retune. We are also able to do some of the last series of stagea (m34?) and r34 25neo ecu's. I'm unsure of what they pick-up as the only one I have done had a slightly larger turbo, injectors and nismo afm, but from other turbo experience I would expect at least 30kw at the wheels. We charge $1400 to custom program the 25neo ecu. Yes we can definitely retune at a later date to suit further mods, and would come at a much revised price as the ecu is already set-up.Tom Silverwater Automotive Services Phone - 02 9748 1300 www.dynotuning.com.au
  13. I've posted a few questions to Tom from SAS via email, just awaiting a response. But what I have asked is: 1) Can you also find out what kind of results they have had in the past with Z33's and V35's? 2) Rough estimate on cost to remap ecu
  14. Hey, I never said I played clean or nicely with the other children And please, no rock spider comments! I don't have boiled lollies in my pocket.
  15. No, just a normal factory ECU is all we need!!! Let's just see what we can get out of a Remapped ECU, it's worth getting in on the SAS dyno and seeing what they can tweak out of the system and how much fuel efficiency can be improved! And the added bonus of not affecting insurance premiums for those that can take the remap option over a piggyback one.
  16. Wait until you see the shots of our sydney turn-out on the 7th of June I think we have 20 coming along, a mixture of WC34's and M35's, pics will be posted up shortly thereafter.
  17. That is only a VQ25DE ECU? Does it make a difference?? Wouldn't be better off with a ECU from a VQ25DET?
  18. Did anyone ever hear back from the cowboy that was trying to sell the trashed black M35 on ebay? If he is parting it up maybe we can get the ECU off him at cut price??!! Let me know if has been in touch with any of you that got in touch with him.
  19. As per excited discussion with Iain I have been in touch with Silverwater Automotive Services (SAS) who remap Nissan Skyline & 350z ECU's. Bad news is as of yet they have not remapped an M35 ECU, but the future could be bright! They are interested in getting their hands on a spare ECU so they can use it as a test ECU and not risk blowing up one of our ECU's! The good news is though once successfully tested they will be able to remap the M35 ecu's and get them running a bit better, something which they seem quiet keen to do. Tom from SAS has had two M35's on the dyno and both of them have been running overly rich, so he is more than happy to help us out! Let's track down an ECU and get some testing underway guys, this could be a better avenue to go down as apposed to a piggy back. SAS Website http://www.silverwaterauto.com.au
  20. I'm not so interested in purchasing an ECU that has been remapped, but thanks for the link. I would like to know who can remap the ECU already in the car It is worth doing some research me thinks!
  21. You must be psychic Houdini!! But yeah your right, Iain is extremely desperate for some more go fast bits. Good note of advice, don't let him near your car if he has a tool in his hand..... (ahem... I know what you'll say, he ALWAYS has his tool in his hand!)
  22. Good one ya f*ck knuckle LOL Would be interested in hearing some more about this M35 ECU Remapping?? When to IM to have a look but couldn't find what you were talking about, maybe the auctions have ended. I wonder who in sydney would know about remapping, someone must know or other the service? Could be an option to increase fuel efficiency until going down the piggy back engine management path??! I'm excited!!
  23. +1 on 3 inch all the way through Rather silly to go back to a 2.5 inch system through out.
  24. Something has gone wrong with it Iain. It was fine when I accessed it the other day, but now even when I log in it says it is private. I've gone to your username and it shows several galleries but the ECU pics are not one of them. Don't know what has gone on there, I would post up reduced one's but I'm on a different computer tonight.
  25. Review mirrors built in indicators, is that a V35 part? What's the part #
