Compliance workshops from what I've heard are meant to disconnect them, ADR are a bit touchy with them and they are only ever to be used in adverse conditions. Hopefully mine have only been disconnected so that I can just hook them back up.

Spotted my first M35 on the road!! Silver M35 RS or RX waiting at intersection of Parramatta Road & James Ruse Drive, Clyde @ 4pm today. Gave him a honk but he was a mature gentleman and didn't even realise I was beeping at him, yes I was in my M35!

The SFHC (Super Fine Hard Coat) definately doesn't, mine plus a few other's that have been imported of late have this. It's merely a clear coat over the top of the paint for extra protection. I wouldn't see the cold pack creating any major hassles, if it's again ADR they will probably just disconnect it or cut the wires of something. Though I wouldn't expect they would need to, they will more than likely do that with the fog lights tho My foglights are not working but i havn't had a look yet to see if they just disconnected the wiring or whether they cut the wires, or removed the fuse.

Toshi, PM details about options for retuning ECU on a 2001 M35 Stagea (VQ25DET). The only mod I know of so far is a Nissan Performance Muffler (Nismo?), it's a cat. back. Chewing through heaps of fuel thanks to Nissan Japan factory tune

Greetings, If you do a search of the forum you will find that the turbo's do fail after a while, there are a few forum's on here that discuss high flowing the stock turbo. It is only a small turbo and it is wedged in a hot and difficult position on the bottom of the motor, don't know how you would go getting another turbo into the position of the stock one. Not sure about dump pipes, you can try and search the forum but I'm not sure if you will bring anything up on that one.

Does anyone have a part # for the plastic guard that protects the front axle and the hardware affixed to it? Its the one after the big one that protects the bottom of the motor etc. I had a major bottom out in Windsor not long after I got the car and the plastic protector is in pretty bad shape, thinking about getting it replaced when it get's serviced.

+1 on this, put me down on the list for the conversion disc. My 2001 M35 has ETC (Japanese Tollcard) on the main menu screen, will there be any major problem upgrading to the software that doesn't include this option on the main menu? Just something I noticed when I was looking at the sample english screen samples. Hopefully this is not too far off now, I would love to do this upgrade before I go for the Digital TV and Sat Nav hardware upgrades.

I think the only differences are height and stuff Maybe just different springs? I'm not sure, maybe Andy or Craig can shed some light on it. The M35 Information Fact Sheet thingie I posted up previously only covers the difference in ground clearance.
