  1. was it an ebay purchase or did you find somewhere with a good price on it?
  2. Well....if Iain can get me one of those gizmo's too we could always do a roadtrip and come say hello Get the tune's done, I'm all for better fuel economy and any added horsepower (old skool!) would be awesum lol
  3. Well.... if it dribbles or spurts fluids or releases toxic gases.. One must conclude the flange isn't the correct one
  4. The spottings at the cruise don't really count P.S. I spotted Iain's M35 and Nick's WC34
  5. Yeah, one of these days I will get to it! Do you recommend the workshop that highflowed your turbo? And just to confirm, did they merely replace your internals or did you go for a new turbo housing? I would like to keep the turbo externals and just replace the insides.
  6. Iain was in his usual flange spotting mood lastnight, trouble was the flange kept disappearing on him everytime he took his eyes off it.
  7. I will go and pick it up for you if you like? I need all performance advantages I can get If I had have known the little blocked hole on the airbox would have made such a difference to sound I would have done it when I got it lol It sounds different but beefier, performance wise it feels like it achieving better air intake, even with low fuel levels. Thanks for that
  8. Just bring yourself man, we couldn't hope to find a bigger tool
  9. oooooh. that's a huge bragging point *tapes some pillow's to his interior*, blah
  10. Did you ever confirm that the 350z rear brakes fitted the M35? This is on my list of upgrades once I start working on the driveline.
  11. Just bare in mind peeps, due to Anzac weekend the double fly-by's start at midnight tonight??! Correct me if I'm wrong, best behaviour from 11.59pm onwards lol Lucky I can fit lots of chops in my wagon haha. they'll be too busy indulging But honestly, I havn't checked yet, I may be LSD fitted as they seem to have done Nismo suspension etc. one never knows.
  12. Super Fine Hard Coat [sFHC] (what Andy mentioned to protect the paint) LCD Screen (TV / SatNav) Twin Electric Sunroof Nissan Performance Exhaust with Sound Control (cat. back) Nismo S-Tune Suspension Aero Bodykit Door Sills (lol... a little shot at iamhe77) NO reverse camera
  13. Bring the M35 ya goose! The Fiat was funny, once Bring it again and I will decimate it Make sure you bring Andy's diff centre for me You going to meet at the Berowra Truck Stop?
  14. *bump* Who's going tonight? I'll go if Iain takes his M35 I'm sick of being a orphin lolz. Plus I want to see another M35, they are good at hiding plus I want to pull apart his crossdresser pack and compare it to my povo pack And what about all these other M35's coming out of the woodwork for a little get together, surely some of you can make it tonight too! It's a good run, good people and not so good food at Macca's LOL [ sorry if they are a SAU sponsor ]
  15. I might have to try harder lol I think mine sits a bit steadier due to Nismo S-Tune suspension, the weight doesn't move around quiet as much as standard suspension M35's.
  16. Jet, As above, we are waiting for you If you formulate a date (a sunday) and a time based around when your car will be back on the road, and then let us know.
  17. It must be rocket science if it took you to work it out lol. I'd prefer not to be sidewise unless I'm in a skidpan
  18. Snow / Syncro buttons Syncro = 50/50 split up to 40 kmp/h then it goes back to normal. Snow = 50/50 split up to 40kmp/h but starts in 2nd gear and reduces boost. P.S. Information provided by the very knowledgeable Andy
  19. Thanks Andy, That's good information Not that I will use the button frequently but it's good to know exactly what they do. P.S. Where is my stamp for full marks?
  20. I can't tell you about Synchro but I can tell you that Snow (from what I've read) gives a 50/50 split of power to front and rear and also does something with the acceleration to avoid bogging down in snow conditions. So chances are (I assume) that Synchro is just that, a 50/50 split WITHOUT the alteration to acceleration, i.e. the power to the wheels is synchronized.
  21. Changing down I take my foot off the pedal, going up I don't. Keep the power going lol As for starting off in 4th, I could be wrong but I think that is just a safety mechanism. e.g. If your on the freeway and your in Auto, and you need power to overtake etc, you can shift straight across from Drive into Manual shift. If it went into 1st it would not be a good thing at 100+ km/h. I assume this is why it starts in 4th, just for safety sake. I could be wrong, but I too pondered the same question.
  22. Seeming as though Jet is kindly providing the (possible) venue, I think it would be nice to wait for 3 weeks or so until his beast is back on the road. Plus I really want to see the high flow job he done on it I'm sure a few of you other petrol heads wouldn't mind checking out the work that has been done to it.
  23. I was going to comment on that too, but thought I would leave it lol I got chewed up and spat out by a Black SS Holden Sportwagon, don't worry, once I've got the high flow turbo and some serious exhaust work completed I'm sure I will have more of a chance Sounded nice when he dropped the pedal though.
  24. It's cut a cut off at red-line and it won't let you change down if the rev's are going to be too high in a lower gear. I've discovered it's pretty much fool proof It's gutless but on the freeways and motorways I tend to be in 5th gear, good fuel economy. 60k zones normally 2nd or 3rd. Not a technical response but hey it might help lol
  25. I've no objection to it being a Sunday, probably a bit better than doing it of an evening. What's everyone else think?
