  1. I didn't race him, I was afraid the Fiat (the size of a matchbox car) may have had decent power to weight (even though it had 1/2 a cylinder).
  2. ... and when your Fiat is tired, run down and defeated, I'll pop it in the back of the Stagea and drop you and the Fiat home
  3. an empty warehouse sounds great to me, regardless of weather etc. we would be able to pop bonnets and do comparisons etc etc. All in the safety of a secured venue so no passers by start sticking noses in etc. where they are not wanted. I give a thumbs up to this idea, nice one Jet!
  4. What's the easiest way to check incase mine does have it?! Besides planting it in the wet lol
  5. Mine is a 2001 model, given the marks and wear etc. I'd say they were there from factory. Maybe they were an option, though FAST didn't say anything??
  6. I must admit that it sucks when you find out everyone else's Stagea has something that yours doesn't! It's like ripped off majorly! If I come across any during my gogglie's searchs etc I'll let you know iamhe77
  7. Ahhhh if only that was the case, sorry to break it to you, there are lots of things wrong in your head xoxoxo
  8. Ok, I've been thinking about it, let's go borrow Andy's diff centre lol I'll have to keep my eye on the wrecker's incase one comes in, I might check if NissWreck will bring one in for me Their next container isn't due for a few months however I'm sure between us all including the ARX owner's we could buy nearly the whole car up
  9. Jealousy is a curse, I'm thinking you won't find a *great* deal of difference between the RS / X Our cars are just more sporty! Where as yours is a crossdresser, oops I mean crossover
  10. Only phone camera (i.e. el crappo quality), gives you an idea what wez talkin' 'bout tho!
  11. My RS has the polished silver Stagea door sill plates too. The front too have Stagea on them and the rear door one's are just plain.
  12. Just came across this during a google search, thought somepeople may find it interesting http://www.nissan-global.com/EN/NEWS/2001/.../011016-01.html Gives information on the model and what is different with the ARX, i.e. ride height etc.
  13. Ian, if you didn't get the gauges, and didn't get the LSD, what did you get? As for the idea of maybe just inserting the LSD diff centre, I will investigate further
  14. Thanks Andy, however I would unhook the HICAS and put a HICAS lock in place. I'm not interested in the HICAS function, only the LSD. I'm planning on upgrading to 18's or 19's in the next year or so anyway, so this may be worth a bit more investigating when that time approaches.
  15. Anyone fitted an ARX LSD to an RS or RX? Straight forward?
  16. 2001 RS Four here, mines got the gauges Maybe the 2003's didn't get them, hopefully someone here will be able to shed some light on the matter.
  17. [[d a n n y]] zei20l andy65b kng35m (depending on location) daleo jetwreck (if it's in 3 or more weeks time) paramour hydra crisis bis-e bee bezerkr32 (if weekend cruise) 11 expressions of interest so far, not bad! And maybe we should make this something we do every 3 months or something? Anyways, make some more suggestions hopefully we will find something that will keep everyone happy.
  18. Some good idea's coming out of this I'll keep my eye on the forum, so far it's looking like a weekday evening might be the go? Let's work out where the bulk of the people are from and find a central area based on that data. I would be coming from Blacktown.
  19. Don't feel too bad about not having spotted them, there are many more in Sydney etc. and I've done 5000+ km's and I have only spotted WC34's!! I've been too Sydney airport, around to La Perouse, Central Coast, Lithgow, Broke (via Old Putty Road). They do a good job hiding, because mine hasn't been spotted and put on the "spot the stagea" forum yet
  20. Awesome, was it a heated towel rack? Gotta love a warm towel in winter
  21. Yeah from memory it was white on black plates Glad I caught ya, as for the arguments, such is life! I'm around the Rouse Hill area quite a bit, so if you see a wine red M35 give me a toot
  22. Sounds good to me, the meet is good but of the several times I've been I have been the only M35 there! The only time I've met Ian he brought an italiano and not the M35 So I'm all for a NSW M35 meet up and cruise, keep me posted.
  23. Looking at the picture for your account, it looks like your car That's my first spot that has brought a response from the owner Shame you didn't spot me!!
  24. Or maybe it's just running rich with the standard computer? Time to go high flow Andy
  25. Maybe us Sydney residents need to do a cruise to ACT I'd be in for it, not sure about the other m35's tho! I could take ya for a spin, or are you more interested in buying? I can tell you that you wouldn't regret it, it doesn't feel like a large car when you drive it, technically it's not really that large, slightly smaller than a Ford or Holden wagon (old version, the new version is around the same size or slightly smaller?)
