  1. Welcome aboard I was in the same happy place you are around 1.5 months ago Hasn't been detailed yet but I'm hoping to get it done soon, need to get the driver's side resprayed first courtesy of a knob and a key that was too close to my door.. argh A few thousand more KM's and it's off to Unique Auto Sports for a service and some new bits and pieces that will hopefully make it go a little faster
  2. Greetings. I've got an appointment on the coast tomorrow afternoon, so I will hang around and meet you guys at Fountain Plaza Hope to see some Stag's there!!
  3. *bump* I can't believe you haven't sold it yet! I would have been in the market but the M35 drained all my cash I still agree with a previous comment, why not get rid of an evo?
  4. It's definatly not an M35 cluster
  5. Understood Danny, I had mine out on a cruise first day I got it lolz. You are more than welcome to join us whenever you feel like it, there is always a few Stagea's.
  6. I was a bit uncertain about the Wine Red colour, but after a while it grew on me. It's just been washed and waxed and it's looking pretty shiny, only depressing thing is the nice long key scratch along the driver's door that some inconsiderate person done a week ago I'll get it into XCM (Xclusive Colours Modifications) and have the door resprayed in the next few weeks. Once that is out of the way it will be into Seven Hills Detailing Centre for a full inside and out detail. [[d a n n y]] - are you located in Sydney or the surrounding area? If so you'll have to come to the Thursday night cruise so we can check it out If anyone know's of a highly recommended Auto Upholstery let me know, I want to get the M35 interior straightened out and in a few minor things glued in place etc.
  7. Have a look around http://www.nisswreck.com.au They are located in South Australia, have a crap load of Skyline's being dismantled etc. I think they bring alot of their damaged cars in from Japan to salvage for parts.
  8. Interesting, I might have to have a closer look at the underneath of the front seats on the M35
  9. Yep, work will do that to you. Mind you, I've been off work for a while due to a contract ending. I can't wait to get back to work, especially 'cos I'll get to drive my Stag lol beats the train! I spotted a nice clean shiny M35, in my driveway Needs a vaccumm and clean inside but the outside is washed, might get around to giving it a good wax job later this evening.
  10. LOL did he snub you or something? or do you always cruise around looking like a cranky prick?
  11. I just went outside and checked my 2001 M35 for you, no vents anywhere but the front. That said however, the aircon after being on FULL for a while sufficiently cools the whole vehicle even up to the back section of the wagon. I don't know if this applies to the WC34 but hopefully somewhere will advise you on that model shortly.
  12. If you havn't had any luck yet. I was browsing http://www.sinergymotorsports.com.au and noticed they carry *some* stock issue second-hand steering wheels. Might be worth giving them a call and finding out if they have any S2 one's and what type they are.
  13. Jet, Out of curiousity, what size are the V35 wheels? What they look like?
  14. Let me think about it So it's a maybe from me!
  15. Nah thanks, no ARX for me. I'm just going to get to work eventually on the RS I've already started the list of mod's and potential avenues worth looking into
  16. Not sure, but if you find somewhere that has a few sets let me know. I too am thinking in time of upgrading to the ARX Stockies, I like the style the 17" is just a tad too small. One question for anyone who can answer, who would the ARX 18's go with the Nismo S-Tune suspension?? I'm sitting pretty damn low and don't know how clearance would be but with low profile tyres, it shouldn't be a concern?
  17. Further to my last email I did end up going for a quick drive afterall, and I tried the suggested method and the light has now gone out. However, if there is an issue that needs my attention I'm sure it will come back on, that being the case I will go and get Hornsby Nissan to check it out a bit further. Thanks again
  18. Silver S2 in a driveway at La Perouse, was a little way off in the distance but looked alright. if your on this forum, howdy The fish and chips and the swim were fantastic nice little neck of the woods out that way. And a M35 ARX in a dealer on Parramatta Road, Concord (http://www.japaneseautocentre.com.au/el/zoom.php?id=1245) if anyone is chasing one Ok, time for a rest I've been driving around the city most of the day as I had to drop someone at the airport, I'm knackered now!
  19. I will give that a shot, thanks dude! I don't know as of yet what the actual error code is for my particular problem. I just tacked it on to this conversation as it referred to M35 issues with the airbag instead of starting a whole new thread. I've been driving most of the day so I've seen enough of my car for now lol. I will give it a go tomorrow morning though and if it doesn't gel I will take it to Hornsby Nissan and get them to check it out. I want to go and meet the guys and let them know they'll have a new customer for all things nissan (i've still got to get around to getting a new rear sunroof rubber fitted, it's on the back burner for now tho!). Once again, thanks for the assitance. Even if it doesn't help me on this occasion it's in the thread now so other's might find it if they have airbag issues.
  20. Chris, This may be on my list of things to do in the future as I think I will be doing quiet a lot of freeway driving. How do I go about getting a kit ordered when I want to get it fitted? Thanks
  21. Mine started flashing tonight and it won't go out Wheel is stock, havn't had any collisions or anything. Did anyone find a solution or a reason for the Airbag light to flash constantly? (comes on solid when you turn ignition on but once the engine is running it flashes).
  22. the car is now registered and ready for action! I took it over the pits and got new plates today so i can finally drive it around. Congrats, you must be pretty excited You'll probably round the km's up pretty quick too, I've only had mine for a month and a bit and I'm nudging 3500 km's lol Mind you my bank account is getting emptied out on fuel costs I took it to boost automotive in invermay and they where very helpful with all questions and they actually new what they where talking about so i think i will be taking the car there for its services From memory you took out a Warranty (Sapphire Blue?) when you purchased the vehicle. Make sure you read the warranty, for my car <100,000 km's and < than 10 years old, the vehicle MUST be serviced atleast every 10,000km's and the invoice/receipt from the servicing agent MUST be mailed to Sapphire within a certain time frame OR the warranty is void. Make sure you have a read and work out what conditions etc. apply to yourself to avoid any issues with the warranty, if you havn't already! Enjoy the new ride
  23. I was safe until.... I went to XCM (Xclusive - Colours - Modifications), he thought it was very much a volvo shape. My only comment was "it goes far better than a volvo". Top bloke, great price to repray a few panels, courtesy of a key job on sunday A quick plug for XCM- Louie Fraco M: 0413 581 099 P: 02 9756 6797 F: 02 9756 6798 12 Cumberland Highway Smithfield P.S. He constantly brings stuff back over from Japan via a wrecker's etc. If you need bodykits and the likes don't hesitate to ask him to give it a shot. He said he doesn't mark anything up so if he pays $200 for it that is what you pay him, I can't vouch for it yet but he is going to get his contact to keep an eye out of an Aero kit for me (old one pretty scratched at front and beaten up all round).
  24. ... or both Plus there is a bevy of beauties in swimsuits and the likes. We would be good if we could get a few stag's there, but if anyone doesn't like hanging with the crowd (i.e. Hard Tuned, Nissan Sylvia) etc. maybe we can arrange another occasion just for Skylines Australia?! See what happens.
  25. Vegie, Congrats on your new car. A month ago I brought a red 2001 250t RS four When I picked the car up it had next to no fuel, don't worry I was at the service station trying to find a release switch or trigger The trick is, if the car's unlocked so is the fuel door Once you lock the car the fuel door SHOULD be secure. Try it out, all going to plan you won't be able to open the fuel door. Anything else let us know.
