  1. Now these look nice! http://www.toyo.com.au/Proxes%20R1R.htm I assume this are an upgrade to the Proxes 4?? Anyone running the R1R tyres? Any feedback to offer?
  2. Sorry, I thought you were planning to drive back the day after you picked it up. Bit different if you want to get part way home that afternoon. If time allows anyway, let me know, myself and Nick (Goldzilla) (providing he has his car back from the air con workshop) can drive and meet you somewhere so you don't have to drive all the way to Blacktown.
  3. This discussion went very quiet, what's the gossip Hopefully everything is still on target for your new car Punk72. Shoot us an update, I'm on the Central Coast at the moment and I'm not sure if I will be in the Sydney region on Tuesday. See how I go, mobile is 0438 242 573 and email is [email protected]
  4. Awesome S2 man, can't believe you are parting with it! I would have been interested but I just blew $20k on a M35 I'm sure you will have no trouble finding someone to give it a new home tho! Good luck.
  5. Hmmm I gather that's Rosie, but as for the game with the chewie packet, I don't quiet get it!!! Some things I just gather I won't understand
  6. I spotted this S1 out near Kings Park (Vardy's Road) with a L or P plate on it, young bloke gave me a wave as I passed. Love the multi-colour panels, makes it very easy for people to identify
  7. Nice wheels, I can feel your heartbreak at the thought of having to part him them. At the moment I've got new tyres on the 17" factory mags that the stagea was sold with, so I'm not in the market. I was commenting to Nick (Goldzilla) last night that I liked the Nismo wheels on a Skyline that was at the meet. Have you had any interested shown in these yet?
  8. Bah! 3 times I've been left out in the M35 cold Last night there was only one M35 and one WC34 lol I'll have to make an effort to come next week, if you are not going to make it though just let me know and I'll wait until you are coming along.
  9. I'm all for high flowing the turbo in my M35 too, probably won't be looking at it for a few months though. I was talking to Unique Auto Sports about it the other day, they said Engine Management would be a problem When someone finds a good, cost effective solution be sure to let me know
  10. All going to plan I am heading to the coast tomorrow morning. I will however endeavour to come to the Fountain Plaza tomorrow night to say hello Hope 2 c another M35 there! I've been the only one on the two occasions that I have come along
  11. Thank you Timmeh, I really didn't expect you to go to the trouble of calling for me. Tell you the truth I was afraid of what they would say the price was but $75.00 is pretty damn awesome, I would probably get them to fit it too so I can avoid any issues that I might come across. 'Cos it's the rear sun roof it disappears into the back of the roof when you open it. I will give Mark Chin a call when I'm ready and get him to order it, will also ask him a cost for fitting it I don't mind giving the money to a dealership with a great reputation and most of you guys seem to swear by Hornsby Nissan. And you could drive my car there and pay for it But you've already done more than enough lol Once again, thanks.
  12. Still a pretty phat wagon tho I wouldn't complain if my M35 looked like that except in wine red, I'm not a fan of white cars personally. My R31 is white and it's always dirty!
  13. Just tell me that Carpark Cake isn't anything like Pavement Pizza Sorry, couldn't resist!
  14. I havn't used the part code with Nissan or anyone yet, it's not leaking water into the cabin so it's on the back burner for now. It was only in passing a Maxima that I thought the sunroof window dimensions looked very similiar. I was only thinking I could maybe get it cheaper if it was in Australia already for the Maxima TI range. I will visit Lander when I get a chance and see what light they can shed on it. Tah anyways!
  15. Nick - sorry for dropping your name I just thought you would have a bit of an idea what to look for so you could have a squiz at the car and I'm sure you know a lot of mods you can suggest as we all love mods! Punk - Where are you are picking the car up from is quiet close to the CBD of Sydney were as Nick and myself are located further back towards Penrith. But I'm sure you want to give it a drive to test it out before you start the big journey home! Good idea with the Mechanic, especially when you are driving it so far to get it home. Last thing you want is to be stuck on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Are you extending the warranty on the vehicle? I went for a 5 Year Parts & Labour Warranty (includes roadside assistance ALL states) for an extra $1000, as I was buying a $19,000 car it was just a bit of extra piece of mind. But they also have the option of 3 Years ($750) or 1 Year ($500). I have had a very brief look at the car and the body is quiet neat, nothing major from memory. I think you will be cheering when you pick it up. Hope all goes well with the mechanic, I assume he is an indepedent so you get an honest, un-biased opinion *finger's crossed* Let us all know how it goes, I don't know about anyone else but I am excited for you
  16. I seen a Maxima (something or other maybe a sports version of the TI) this evening and the sunroof looks a very similiar dimension / design to the *rear* sunroof of the M35 Stagea. So I'm trying to find out if maybe it is the same as that way I can replace my sunroof rubber seal with one of them. I know I could go to Nissan but you guys are more helpful than they will be (I think), but if not I will see just how good the local guys are here in Blacktown. If anyone here works at Nissan Blacktown my apologies, no offence meant Anyway, I will post any details I get incase anyone else here needs to replace an M35 rear sunroof rubber seal.
  17. It is indeed missing the front badge, and from the photo's the only badge on the back is the Stagea on the left hand side and possibly the Nissan in the middle of the back below the window. No RS Four etc. Some of you guys have recommended debading so it's nearly all done I would love to do a roadtrip back to Tassie with Punk just for something to do, but fuel costs don't allow it! Though I have heard it's awesome to drive around Tasmania, nice and twisty! Punk72 - if you want someone to show your car too and you are near the blacktown region let me know I might even be able to get Nick to bring his WC34 so you can get a list of mod's started
  18. It's a 1998 WC34 2.5 TURBO 5 SPEED MANUAL Another car from HCN if I'm not mistaken (www.allimports.com.au). Talk to Sean Phan when you are getting the car, he sold me my Stagea M35 and he was pretty cool. Good luck!
  19. I was originally looking at Commodore Wagon's and drove quiet a few of different kinds, Lumina, Equipe, Executive. They drive like crap compared to a M35 Stagea, you just can't start a comparison between the two. I would say don't rush into buying a commonwhore wagon until you have had a taste of a Stagea! As for babyseat's, there are 3 secure points at the rear of the M35 on the roof Lucky you don't have 4 kids or one would have to roll around in the back area of the wagon... but there are cargo hooks so you could strap 'em down so they don't roll around and do too much damage I posted a few links for you the other night, some nice one's in country vic
  20. Hmmm... so you've had your factory fitted turbo HiFlowed? Sounds interesting. If this is the case, how much extra boost was obtained and how brutal was the fuel consumption increase? I'm looking for things to put down on the project list, this sounds like it has some potential.
  21. Lucky that the M35 is a keep for life kinda car I don't think it would be that hard to resell one if the need arises, I'm not a dealer though but I know if someone came to me with a M35 Stagea and I was in the market for it I would go for it, I've also nearly convinced everyone who has been in the car that it's the best thing since sliced bread lol
  22. M35 M35 M35 oi oi oi! Hmmmm Brembo's off a V35, now that sounds like an upgrade option to add to the list of wants lol what's the part # and price on that The M35 is definatly a luxury cruiser but has plenty of power on tap, I will admit I prefer the C34 for general exterior eye candy but the M35 has the bang for buck and is schmick inside and not too shabby on the outside either! But everyone has different tastes so I would say let the missus decide as she is the one who is going to be driving it Depending where you live I can bring mine around so she can have a look over it.
  23. Found another few links for you, these all appear to have the same Aero kit as the beige one you posted http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/NISSAN....aspx?State=VIC http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/U...ckToResult=true http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/U...ckToResult=true the last two are also on http://www.japauctions.com.au/, might be worth having a look at their site as there are a few more I think. I only had a quick look but it may be worth investigating.
  24. Evening, So, let's start with what is the benefit of having driving lights? i know you can never have enough accessories lol Anyone got the Nissan Part #'s ? I might have to get a price on them when I visit the local Nissan Dealership to see if they can order some other bits and pieces for me. What a bummer they weren't factory fitted
  25. Was just checking the rest of the photo's out on the link and noticed the rear shot of the car. Sports exhaust?? not sure the twin tip works as it's not centered with the body kit lol I love my Nismo cat back system with sound control! mind you I always use Sports mode, Silent mode is probably more fuel efficient but to tell you the truth I havn't noticed much difference sound wise. Maybe I need to be at the back of the car whilst someone else is driving
