  1. Kevin, Sounds like a lot of mucking around, stuff-ups and general unexpected speed humps. Hope you get it all sorted out soon and everything is 100% ok with the system. Most importantly, once it's all fixed and running smoothly, I hope you get the dyno results to make it all worthwhile Goodluck man
  2. Hey guys, I've also posted this in the Stagea discussion as I'm thinking about going if I can make it. So hopefully we can get a few Stagea's to come along too, it's for a good cause.
  3. Found this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bu...-C-t256499.html in the NSW Events. It's tomorrow, it's short notice, but I'm just wondering if any other stag's are interested in going or are already going? I'm thinking about it but I want to make sure I'm not the only stag
  4. Come on, someone must've spotted me by now!! Nearly 400 km's on the clock
  5. I assume by s3 that you mean the M35, the previous model was the WC34 which was available in a s1 & s2. I my self have just purchased an M35 and it is awesome, power output is great and the features are abundant. Power windows, dual power sun roof, display monitor*, SAT NAV*, TV. (* not of much use until I get everything changed over and updated etc so it's in English not Japanese!!). It drives like a normal car, doesn't even feel like I'm driving a wagon that weights 2 tonne. I've been out in the rain and I've been hitting the pedal pretty hard and it hasn't missed a beat, no sliding or skidding. So as you can tell I'm an M35 supporter, but the WC34's are awesome too, a little bit slower but after some performance work I'm sure you'd get them moving a bit faster. I think the thing I like about the M35, it doesn't look like something the cops would suspect is packing the power it's got. Most other cars on the road don't seem to have an idea what it's capable of either, they think it's just an everyday wagon. The WC34 on the other hand just looks a bit more old skool sporty, you know from looking at it that it's something out of the norm. Anyway, that's my two cents worth If you wanna see a nice WC34 s1 have a look at GoldZilla's As for importers, I'm sure someone from the forum will be able to advise you on that one.
  6. Hahaha, but rolla's fly down hill!!! I just took the stag to the RTA at St Martins Village, in the wet Didn't miss a bit, manual changing hi rev's, engine braking and it doesn't even slide a jiffy! It is madness, how did I last 34 years without a stag?? I'm left wondering now, shame that Nissan isn't manufacturing them anymore
  7. I wouldn't mind getting hold of the M35 2001 model manual myself Let me know how.
  8. Guys, I've done a quick search of the forums and havn't found anything in relation to what the different headings and information etc. translation to! If no-one here has done this I might start taking pictures of the screen and get them translated so I can post them up in their own thread so atleast people will understand some of it Even better, can you have it switched over to English with new software in the SAT NAV (I assume from a thread I seen that it's the SAT NAV that drives the on-screen display thingie bob). Anyways, if anyone has any helpful input let me know If not I'll wait until a bored day and I will start taking pics
  9. I wasn't really hassling the rolla's, they were huge back in the day. Still a few getting around here and there, the rest of probably all rusted out and died painful deaths I should have got a rolla for my first car instead of the sh!tbox Holden Sunbird I got, haha.. that was a shocker. Good luck with finding an M35 when the time is right, hopefully you'll find the ideal one you are after. With the situation of the Aussie dollar tho the prices will probably keep going up
  10. Maybe I need to ease off on the pedal and drive it in auto instead of manual shifting... nah... it's more fun consuming the fuel
  11. an old rolla, fully sick bro!!
  12. Hahaha, I'll leave the airbox as it is for now. I'm happy with the power response and delivery and think it goes fast enough for atleast a few months There are only so many demerit points on a drivers licence Sorry to hear about your gearbox, hope it's not something major. Hope you get it all sorted out and get it running 100%
  13. Ummm... kinda but I'm not sure. Pics have been posted here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/M3...html&st=300 scroll towards the bottom, there are a series of pics of a red stag.
  14. Just picked up my M35 yesterday and it's got the Stagea floor matts in it, cheering! They have press studs and all in the back to snap the side matts to the matt that goes over the hump where the gearbox is.
  15. Hahaha, love the fact that you can see the photographer taking the picture of the bonnet, lucky he was wearing clothes!! I'm sure you guys have seen the pic of the dude who took a pic of something for ebay and you can see him in the reflection butt naked, what a laugh!! Sleeper - I'm near Kings Park. Favourite Pizza joint for me is Lalor Park Pizza, they are awesome! You'll have to try one if you visit the area, the topping is just extreme it's packed on. As for BT being a hole, nothing's changed man! How much lighter do you guys estimate a carbon weave bonnet would be??
  16. I wasn't racing as such, just getting egged on by people in NA Celica's and the likes Then they heard my motor and realized they had underestimated the delivery wagon Let's round up some Stagea's and do a run along the Putty Road to Singleton and then back on the F3, stop somewhere for lunch and a pow wow etc
  17. Ok, just some stats for ya's First tank of Caltex Vortex 98 that I put in my M35, well not a whole tank 41.43L to be precise It got me 312km's, which I don't think is too bad considering the first 150km's was taking it easy and being contained and the second half, well need I elaborate Let's just say I gave the manual shift (with high rev's of course) and the 4WD traction a good test run The on-board system gives me a read out (the english parts I can read, the japanese, not so well!!) 6KM/L, the green leaf is a bit off putting tho because everytime you tickle the peddle the green disappears out of the leaf lol. I spose it's best for the environment if you don't touch the peddle Anyway, only good things to report so far, nothing has fallen off or blown up (touch wood). I've been up to the Central Coast and then back into the city and then to Blacktown, surprised in all of those K's today that no-one spotted me and posted!! I'm glad I got the M35, everyone thinks it's like a 4 cylinder or something innocent, they all think they can go quicker or get off the line faster.. This is not the case and they were left embarrassed and confused lol Anyway, this has been the rambling of a new Stagea owner, I'll be hopping along now
  18. If you have a room full of cash just blowing around Nismo offer a sweet kit Fortunately the M35 I brought yesterday came with a Nissan Factory fitted kit. Don't know how you would go about sourcing one or how much it would cost.
  19. Small turn out last night Weather was good until we left Berowra and hit the Freeway, the clouds poured a great deal of rain from a great height I lost everyone as I was just easing myself into the power and the 4WD. Goes great though, when I pulled out of Macca's when everyone left I gave it a gentle boot and she got up and partied Nice traction and great power delivery. Anyway, I'm over the moon and can see this thing is going to cost me an arm and a leg in fuel
  20. I've got to go up anyway now so I will be there. Picked up the new car this afternoon, it's going like a dream so far so will be good to give it a bigger run. Leaving Blacktown now so should be there about 7.20pm or so. See you there if you go.
  21. I may be wrong here, but I replaced a similar sounding part to this a few months ago in my 1989 Nissan Skyline GXE3.0. The part I replaced was a 2 part set of white holders that hold the window in place, I've attached some photo's. The packet only contains one but there are two of these clips on each window set-up. Part # on the bag it came in (just incase it's not clear) is 80320-J7000 and it's called a Holder. (Bag is a bit warn so it may be 80320-J7080?).
  22. Not bad, however I've already signed up for a 2001 M35 :-) Picking her up tomorrow all going to plan.
  23. You mean to tell me that this car does have auto spanking? Sheesh, having to do it manually is a bit tedious... and I thought this car had everything, well nearly! Sorry I didn't word my first question clear enough, what brand / CCA battery are you running? i.e. did you remove the small battery box and install a bigger one? Stephen
  24. It's a metallic wine red, it's not bad I think it grows on you. I'm led to believe it's a fairly rare colour for the M35. As for brakes, do you need them? Just put a brick on the go go pedal and you'll be right! afterall it's 4wd yes? Stephen
  25. What are you running in yours? Do you have SAT NAV / DVD / TV ? Do you find they chew a lot of power when you use them? Stephen. P.S. I just got the bank cheque out for my new M35, I'm getting excited now!
