That could possibly have been me JDR33M with c/f bonnet or Kris with the orange 33 CR33M..can u remember the plate?
-
From what I've heard as long as they arent above your steering wheel height on the pillar...so normally you'd only get 1 gauge on there...but my mates been pulled over a few times and he has a two pillar gauge holder no issues...it really depends on the copper.
-
If its an ADR approved one you get a certificate with it and a mod plate when you purchase it, so that'd be guaranteed legal...who's the supplier for this one?
-
i use to run 17 x 7's needs to fill it out a bit better, so i'd say go 17 x 8 with like a +22 offset
-
I saw this recently posted on this forums have a flick through, not sure if it was an Impul front lip or something else...probably about page 6-7 or something have look mate

R33 Gts-4 5 Stud Conversion
ShyBoi replied to ShyBoi's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Ok so I found this link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/4-...tml&hl=stud This explains what you need to convert a GTS-4 into 5 stud due to our cars being awd...you will need a set of HNR32 or BNR32/33/34 front knuckles...and he used rotors/calipers from an ECR33 -
Nuh after this build I'll be heading towards and Audi S3...this is just my toy project to get it out of my system as I always wanted to build a car. As for 5 stud conversion already worked it out I just need a set of HNR32 or BNR32/33/34 knuckles front hubs and Im all good from there. Dnt worry I realised I could buy either a Nur or N1 engine from Just Jap and have dropped the engine in with the amount I've spent so far...but I did bodywork...so eh its already been done. As I said I'd have always bought a GTR but I wudnt have been able to drive in for 3 years cause I'm on my P's still til next August...
-
quick question for those checking this, mines a GTS-4 so its awd setup...now the front hubs that i got from a gtst dnt suite and wont bolt up for my 5 stud conversion anyone have any ideas how to fix this, im lookin in ur direction kevin

R33 Gts-4 5 Stud Conversion
ShyBoi replied to ShyBoi's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
josh, ive just run into the situation and found the front hubs are different, but was also told gtr wudnt work due to the size not sure if thats correct any possible solutions u cud recommend? -
Diffuser will be an issue due to clearance under the 400r rear bar being so low, so may only be attached on show days not for daily driving
-
Nuh this isnt the widebody this is a GTR look atm, later I'll be doing super widebody like the track cars....this is just the build thread leading to it

ShyBoi replied to Dean_HR31's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I'm about to fit up 18x10 +18s on my front I'll let u know how it goes...or any issues -
Almost there, just have to fit sideskirts on Monday, then fit the wheels to give it the stance. Colour is a bit trippy depending on daylight and night lights in the workshop... Will post pics once it rolls out to the street Best angle shot for the car The Phatt Guards Shot of the rear end with the 400R Rear Bar At midnight under factory lights its gold...ewww Under normal daylight in the factory...different?

Hey guys, I've got a 95' R33 GTS-4, I've just been given a R33 GTS-T 5 stud conversion, have people put these on their GTS-4, does it need any modifying or will it bolt straight up considering mines an awd setup. Cheers Dan
-

The Clean Vs The Sporty Looking.
ShyBoi replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
For the untrained eyes who see a GTR badge they wont respect it anyway, as I've seen GTR badges on banged up 4d sedans r33 and just normal cars these days that they ruin a true GTR -
Easy way to put it depending on the kit Front Bar: $300-350 Side Skirts: $200-250 Rear Bar: $250-350 depends on what you want unless you leave it standard I know you can get $500 kits on ebay and that but they only have like 2-3 layers of fibreglass which means if you kit anything it'll crack from say your fenders down about 15cms just hitting a driveway. The other ones people are quoting have like 6 layers of fibreglass so if you hit a driveway you'll maybe get a crack like 3cms...so strength of the fibreglass is important as hamish said you may go through a bar per year otherwise...depending how low the car is.

Agrred + 1 craig Option 1: Basically you could drill a hole under the gauge holder is best option but if you remove it you'll have a hole left behind Option 2: Run the wires sealed down the back of the dash, so wires will be noticeable Option 3: Costs more but you could get it moulded in like in the 34s so it looks factory I will be doing this soon enough, will post my efforts for you later if you havent already done yours
-
SNAP! Take that craig lol...wish mine was gold plated, but it is as close as it will get to that already due to paintedjob, its copper bronze but under fluros it changes to gold
-
Have heard about some of the ebay kits people are buying horrible fitments so much work needed and for those after a cheap kit it is the best option but dont expect quality fitment. Even mine had gaps on the rear bar for fitment and sagged under drivers headlight...but that was temporary kit until what my cars just had fitted and painted so wasnt fussed. Also check how many layers of fibreglass used cause that makes it cheaper but u'll have more driveway damage
