Up for sale is my GTi-R. This is a very reluctant sale as it was going to be a car I would hold onto for a very long time. I have a 350z as a daily and drive the GTi-R when I feel like some turbo
At the moment, owning two cars is not very feasible for me as I'm still looking for a career and parent's place doesn't have much room, plus rego, insurance, fuel and maintenance on two jap cars is again not very feasible for me atm. try performing a fault/error code test using the OBD and see what error code flashes on dash. If your afm, ignitor, coils, plugs are ok, then it could be a faulty CAS (crank angle sensor).

car shaking could be a result of leaking vacuum hoses, probably not recirculating correctly atm. Look for those small skinny hoses that attach to the intake pipe. They could be damaged/not properly connected. Worth a try

Hi everyone, got a few skyline parts for sale.
1. 2 x R33 GTS-T Wheels and Tyres ($150)
Wheels in excellent condition. Tyres close to new (~90 thread).
205/55R16 (bridgstone turnaza).
2. R33 S2 Dash with all switches - Excellent Condition ($80)

I've also reset the ecu by bridging the two lower left pins on the consult connector near the drivers foot (as disconnecting the battery cable didn't work for me), which was flashing 11 - meaning CAS error. So I reset that aswell and will see tomoro how it goes.

Alright guys, I went through all the hoses and re-tightened them, cleaned the throttle body and it all made no difference. Someone suggested that it may be the CAS - Crank Angle Sensor as the car turns off randomly at idle, while driving and in the middle of round abouts and uphills. So I replaced the CAS and let the car idle for a few minutes. After car got a little bit warmed up it just turned off like before!!!
So I've disconnected the battery cable for overnight and see if that re-sets the ecu???
How long does the battery needs to be disconnected for the ecu to properly reset it self? and must I do this if replacing the CAS?
