qld R33 GTR rims and tyres
Jimz replied to nischic's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
These still for sale? -
Thanks Johnny. That's exactly what Kyle is making. When I get my stuff from GCG I'll post a pic of it all. Pretty excited and can't wait.
-
Hi Johnny, could you please explain this further? Are you talking about having a splitter in the pipe going to the wastegate mount? Thanks
-
Cheers boys.

Hi everyone, sorry for the noob question and I have searched quite a bit but would like to know everyone's experiences. I have 740cc Tomei injectors, an Aeromotive fuel pump in-tank and Tomei FPR. I would like to know how much power on 98 would these 740cc injectors support on an RB25det engine. Thanks
-
I saw that pic on Google. Have decided to run single 50mm wastegate now. 6boost twin scroll and new garrett GTW3476r. Thanks guys.
-
Cheers. I did my searching too. Just seeing if anyone on here had any first hand experience.
-
Anyone? Or should I stick with single gate?
-
Hi everyone, Just seeing if anyone can post up pictures or give me any information regarding fabricating twin waste gates for a twin scroll setup. I am using a 6Boost manifold and have an R33gtst. If you have any experience or pictures of a setup running twin waste gates in a 33 or whatever, please post up. Thank you in advanced.

Hey mate, awesome pics of a beautiful city. I am a high school history teacher and teach my senior students about the Romanov Dynasty and the Russian Revolution. If you have more pictures or videos please post these up, along with your awesome "Russian GTR" haha. All the best and post pics and more information about your build whenever you can. All the best. -

Piglet's Rebuild Of His Busted Tomei 2.8
Jimz replied to Piggaz's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
I had the exact same problem. Under load above 4000rpm (dependant on load situation) both on road and on dyno (ramped, etc) when accelerated hard my car would have a miss and sort of hesitation. If i eased on the accelerator, the problem did not occur. We changed fuel pump, had all injectors flow tested, etc, as they are brand new, and car still hesitated (missed). I WAS running NGK platinum plugs (gapped to 0.8mm) and the car still had same symptoms (exactly like you are saying). I have super tech valves with titanium retainers, etc, 1.5mm overized valves stainless on intake and nitrite coated on exhaust. My springs are 95pounds at the seat and still car hesitating under load. Problem was found that my spark plugs were arching out under load. (Simple rule of thumb for old school mechanics - plugs up top, points down low) checked my coil packs, they were fine. Changed the plugs to v-grove and solved my issues instantly. Have also since put SplitFire coil packs and HKS plugs. I was running 12psi when this was occurring so had nothing to do with coil binding or a dud valve spring. That's just my two cents. Hope this info helps. -

Um this is absolutely NOT true!!! Sorry about being frank but I had GCG high-flow my standard turbo (I have an R33gts-t series 2) They rebuilt with new inducer and exhaust wheels (steel wheels) and it turned out better than factory. Since having the turbo I have still used the stock ecu and recirculating blow off valve, stock injectors, etc. I have had it on the car for exactly 38,000kms and have not had a problem. I even added a GFB bleed valve and gone to 11 psi with no problem and still within great air/fuel ratios. Sorry but if you're going to give out information make sure it is correct.
