  1. Need passenger side headlight. How much and where can I buy one? T.
  2. Castrol GTX3 15w40 is a good cheap performance oil. The cheaper Penrites aren't bad (GP50?). I dun see the point of using $50+ oil on something that needs to be changed every 5000kay... T.
  3. Mine looks worse than that... normal wear and tear. T.
  4. Pfft! 6 psi... Rubbish It goes haywire if you turn it up... T.
  5. Nah they turn up every so often on the J-Spec etc. etc. mailing lists. All you need to do is stick in an RB25DET. It has attessa, it has the 4wd gearbox... T.
  6. Damn. I'm getting hard just reading that spec. list. Sounds like a horribly fast shopping trolley... T.
  7. I doubt that any r33 would still have the stock battery? Mines a standard Bosch. T.
  8. I really wanna know why it changed behaviour so badly. On 6 psi and standard take up (4,000rpm?), it's fine. How come 9 psi and 3,000rpm pickup made it so awful. I would hate to think what Brendan's 335kW r33 is gonna be like... T.
  9. It's an RB25DET of course. Power is controllable as it is. ARC FMIC with underhose (not over the engine) Flowed standard turbo 3" dump pipe 3.5" exhaust from the turbo (just say I removed the silencer) Apex'i AVC-R (set to 6-7 psi) Apex'i PowerFC (not tuned) HKS BOV (basic gold coloured one) HKS supa mega flow (green one). Because I upped the boost to 9 psi and set the lower limit to 3,000rpm and it became an uncontrollable monster. Powersliding on even slight steering angles, wheelspin galore (Rays Volk TE37 17x8 running Toyo Proxies) but eyeball sucking acceleration T.
  10. The JVC s985 is under $400 in Sydney if you look around. Ironically, I bought mine with another SAU member T.
  11. I'm installing the JVC S985 in my r33 tomorrow hopefully. Should be dead simple. The JVC decks are a bit no frills IMO (no wnak EQ's etc.) but great SQ and the features it has are sensible. Remote + detach face + mp3 + dual outputs + sub out + clock and no wank graphics. Can't beat it. T.
  12. There was a '99 Non V-Spec R34 for $75 on Geoff Risbey's list. Fairly rough looking example. Admittedly they tend to go for more like $80-85. But still, high $70's is not THAT uncommon. T.
  13. These are perhaps insider prices - people here who know what the fark they are doing. You might add 10% for dealer prices. But yeah, $50,000 should buy you a very nice R33 GT-R V-Spec II which is what I'd really like... T.
  14. The Skyline is still a young guys' car. An R34 GT-R is $75k minimum. An R33 GT-R is $35k minimum. An R32 GT-R is $20k minimum. The big sellers are the R32 GTS-t or the R33 GTS-t... T.
  15. The conversion is 1.341 So 450hp is 335kW. How much is all this going to cost? Sounds horribly expensive. T.
  16. How much would the Series 3 GT-R Xenon lights cost? They would look mad on my GTS... T.
  17. I'm pretty sure Hicas is 'high capacity active steer'. The only aftermarket traction control I've heard of is the Autronic SM2... I've never heard of factory TC on any Skyline. T.
  18. http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/r33_34rims_a.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/r33_34rims_b.jpg Looks a bit 'full' T.
  19. All I"m saying is that the S2 GTS-t front bar looks awful. It's just my opinion. Some people might like it... T.
  20. They look ok as long as you use clear lights. I'll take photos of mine when it is done. I expect that I'll have to orange paint the globes... T.
  21. Attessa beats 'symmetrical' 4wd any day of the week. Symmetrical is another word for 'lame'. T.
  22. LOL. I don't smoke either. But I like a hidey hole for my little shitzniz... T.
  23. Orange bulbs? That would work fine with the clear reversing trailer lenses. User the flashing mechanism of the orange lensed indicators. I'm thinking maybe $30 total cost? T.
  24. What if you want to use the ashtray? Try under the steering column. T.
  25. At $320 a pair I think I'll visit K-Mart and use the trailer lights. T.
